This is a well-organised hostel, and should see any traveler right! Excellent location, helpful and friendly staff, value for money - there's a free, 'continental' breakfast - with a mixed atmosphere: warm, lively bar and communal areas, contrast with quieter, ex-university dorm feeling areas (though it's all under the same roof). No problems here!
AVOID!! Empty, impersonal, and generally one of the worst hostels I've ever walked into. Room felt more like a psychiatric ward. The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful - we booked for a double room with ensuite but arrived to a 4 bed dorm. When we went back to reception we were told that they didn't even have a double room - their excuse was 'maybe the English translation didn't work on hostelworld.' It seemed clean but for £2-£3 more a night you can stay in a place you would actually enjoy
I don't get why a "green policy" hostel had to put all the heater at MAX in the whole building! You're cold, get a sweatshirt guys..
Yes, it is affordable, but the rooms are more like prison cells. If the ONLY thing you are looking for is a cheap place to stay in the city centre, then this is for you. But do not look for athmosphere or comfort.
