Was expecting a bit more from this hostel with a rating this high. I’ve stayed at lots of hostels in Europe before, and expected a better atmosphere and facilities than what I experienced. The guests at the hostel is a mix of some young and some old guests. It feels more like a very cheep hotel, rather than a social hostel. Everyone kind of does their own thing. Location is good, bathrooms are clean, but everything feels a bit old. Personally I would probably book an Airbnb next time.

A little dirty and dated. Sheets and pillow on bed were stained yellow. Breakfast pancakes and waffles did not taste fresh. Not much atmosphere going on. Location not far from beach and shops.

Very friendly staff, clean modern rooms. Only some rooms have air con, mine was quite hot most nights. Range of activities is good. Wish the social spaces were less disjointed and used more.
