Located 4 minutes’ walk from Jericho Beach Park, this Vancouver hostel features free WiFi in the common areas. A lounge, games room, and television room offers an opportunity for guests to relax and mingle.

All dormitory-style rooms include linens, backpack-size lockers, and shared bathroom. A private en-suite bathroom is provided in select HI-Vancouver Jericho Beach rooms.

A community dining area offers toasters, microwaves, refrigerators, and kettles.

Spanish Banks Beach is 1 km away. The University of British Columbia is less than 20 minutes away via public transportation. Locarno Beach and Jericho Sailing Centre are within 550 metres of the property.

Please also note that HI Vancouver Jericho Beach caters to travellers, and residents of Vancouver and the Lower Mainland are excluded from staying. Valid government-issued photo identification is required at check-in.

The check-in time begins at 4:00 pm. If you intend to arrive after midnight, please contact the hostel front desk to prevent 'no-show' charges and the cancellation of the remaining reservation.

Shared dormitory-style rooms are for guests aged 13 years and older. Minors must be accompanied by their legal guardian. Children 12 and under may stay in private rooms only. Guests are welcome to stay a maximum of 21 nights per season. Pets are not allowed.

Excellent hostel, clean, well organised. Staff were fabulous super helpful and friendly. Only quibble is lack of light/shelf/outlet for top bunk sleepers. Only room light is on shelf by lower bunks and only 1 or 2 outlets for 4 people per section.

I go fo rthe shower and drive up to the neighborhood to sleep in my van cause to .much llumbermill. Wish thefe was a shower only rate.

Stayed in the 14 bed female dorm and it was more like podstyle which I liked. The rooms and bathrooms were nice and there are lots of places to lounge around throughout the hostel. Not very social hostel, my dorm at one point only had 4 girls total in it. Staying by the beach is nice but it is far from everything. The activities are done with the other HI location which honestly saved my experience. I was able to meet people during those, without them I wouldn’t have. Decent hostel overall!
