Great hostel, modern facilities and so clean. Location is ok. 7km away from the town but buses go regularly from the front of the hostel. It was quiet so couldnt judge the atmosphere fairly. My concern was lack of bathroom facilities during a busy period. 1toilet/shower per 8 beds! Other than that great stay.

One of the nicest hostels I've stayed in but the location is bad. It's a 20 minute bus ride from whistler village which can become annoying if you have to do it twice a day. However very clean and nice hostel and the staff were good.

It was really clean, but very far from whistler village which was pretty inconvenient because we ended up getting a taxi many times just so we wouldnt spend hours waiting on infrequent busses. I would reccomend staying somewhere closer to the village.

I liked the facilities....nice and clean. The staff were friendly....but at times they were more interested in chatting to eachother, rather than serving the customers. But overall, I enjoyed my stay. Clean & quiet is my top priority. Thank You.

Awesome hostel! Very clean and the staff are amazing! Only annoying point is that it is located a long way away from the village. Other than that this is an amazing hostel. one of the better ones iv stayed at.

We had great stay in the private ensuite room. Was a spacious, airy, clean room with a fantastic view of the mountains. Staff were excellent and we enjoyed a relaxing beer at the HI cafe. Will be back again for sure!

Really good bus connection, about 20 min. to ski lifts and town and bus stops directly in front of the hostel. Huge kitchen, nice staff. Was a bit surprised that 2 dorms (= 8 people!) shared one washroom / one shower but apart from that everything was fine!

A bit of a trek away from the action, but great value for money, very clean and comfortable. Having to take the bus around is a small price to pay to get to see the area on a budget.

Great stay! Great price and amazing private room for a hostel (i.e. private shower, toilet, sink, and tv!). The only thing that we did not like was the bed as it was way too soft, but for the price the room went above and beyond our expectation.

Couldn't really fault any aspect other than on my first day things got very wet and it was difficult to dry in the ski storage room my clothing.

Thought the hostel was very good, the rooms were great, own bathroom (per 2 rooms). The location was a bit out of the village but really accessible with public transport. The kitchen is not well equipped and fridges are too crowded to put your food in. Not a very social atmosphere, no organised night outs besides a club crawl (which not everyone is up for) staff could take groups out into town to find the hotspots//mingle with other travellers. Staff were fairly helpful. Room keys barely worked

Great atmosphere! Tasty food at Cheaky's cafe - I really enjoyed listening to music in the lobby while I had my morning coffee.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at thw HI Whistler. It's a very new hostel so everything was nice and clean, and it only takes a short bus ride to get up to whistler village! A+

Staff contradicted each other - led to miscommunication and disappointment.

I love staying at HI-Whistler! The staff is extremely courteous and, when I had trouble booking a room, they really went above and beyond to find me somewhere to stay. They saved my ski trip!
