Hostel looks great. Although not in the centre, it's still in a beautiful location and the bus stop is right outside the door. The shower and bathroom was not cleaned for 3 days (the whole time i was there) When i arrived the shower floor had lumps of hair on and a few little bits of garbage-this was still there 3 days later when i checked out. This was disappointing, how often are the shower and bathrooms cleaned? Stained pillow under pillowcase. unbearable rooms in the summer, even with fans

It was very clean and modern! Good place to stay! By bus it takes 22' to the Gondola. By car only 10'. Not too expensive for whistler.

When my friend i I were removing feeted sheets from the mattress before the check out we said what a long and a difficult task that is for the hostel staff to put them on and we thought that the guests would be fine with doing that instead.

The HI Whistler Hostel was probably one of my favorite hostels in my visit to BC. Its a very new building so everything is new and in great condition. The hostel is slightly out of the way and a little hard to find but once you get there it is easy to figure out where everything else is. Rooms were very warm and stuffy but that is to be slightly expected for a hostel built in the middle of the mountains. Great Hostel. Would definitely recommend it

This is a nice new hostel that seems more like a hotel. Helpful staff, great beds, (although our pillows were lumpy) I actually said "wow" out loud when I saw the kitchen. Will definitely stay here again!

The place is a bit out of town, but it is close to some hiking trails such as loggers lake and Cheakmus river. The hostel itself is top quality, has everything you want though it got a bit warm.

It's an amazing hotel-like building with great staff. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful. She even offered to make reservations for our planned activities. There is a really big kitchen where many people spend time catching up with their fellow hostelers.

Great facility, however rooms were way to hot. Felt like a sauna.

This place is super clean and new, with a lovely patio to look out over some mountains. It was pricey but for the standard I thought it was reasonable. It's a way from the town but that's standard in Whistler. The kitchen and common room are great and there's a cute cafe you can eat breakfast - not included unfortunately. The woman running the cafe was pretty rude, that was a shame. But all else was great.

A little out of the way, but local transit makes it no problem to get to the olympic village without a vehicle.

Good hostel. Far from the village but easy by bus, 2,25 $ one way. Clean and good kitchen. It was very hot in the room.

We stayed 1 night in 4 Bed Dorm and 2 nights in a private Room. Both Rooms were great but there was one big problem. Only a tiny window to open and no AirCon at all. So especially the Dorm was boiling hot and impossible to cool down. Kitchen was always dirty but that's the fault of the guests. WiFi was working fine. Location is ok if you have a car and it's still a 15 min. drive.

Great hostel at a fantastic location! The staff of the reception was not always that helpful. We also recommend the food of Cheaky's cafe. An improvement for the hostel can be an included breakfast.

Appeared to be no air con working so extremely hot. But staff did find a fan for us to use.

Great view from the hostel, clean and secure. Location isn't bad either as the bus runs till 3am every day into Whistler village.
