Our favourite hotel during our time in Vietnam. Amazing staff who go out of their way to help. It was also great being picked up from our sleeper bus as we were all half asleep. Highly recommend this place!!

Hiem Mai is down an ally but don't be put off, it's actually a really good budget hotel. We stayed in a large group and had 3 seperate rooms between us. They were all clean and of a decent size. The breakfast was good (for the price). The only issue we had was that you have to leave the keys at reception and then pick them up when you come in. They once gave me someone elses key by mistake, which wasn't a problem for us but I wouldn't want someone else being given the key to my room!

The staff are exceptional and the breakfast is very good.

A very nice stay! Free pick up from the sleeper bus, couldn't check in early but bags were kept safe and were able to chill in the lounge and use facillities! Lovely family feel! Very helpful with train ticket booking! Room clean and comfortable but didn't actually get cleaned in the 3 nights we stayed wasn't a real problem but perhaps would have been nice if rubbish bins changed! Close walk to restaurants bar and beach so perfect location for us! It was all locked up at night so felt safe!

The staff was very helpful and the bed in my room was outrageously comfortable. A nice breakfast was provided in the morning and the hotel is located right near the main beach or you can rent a motorbike and go a different beach away from some of the crowds. Hotel is within walking distance from many restaurants and bars. Very secure at night and decent wifi was provided although the computers in the lobby were always a safer bet.

Overall, nice hotel, very nice staff. Good location. My biggest complaint is that we booked a taxi through the hotel to avoid being "scammed". We paid quite a bit more for this service, only to have the taxi driver demand more money from us and not letting my friend out of the car until she paid him more!!!!

Great location near the beach, restaurants and shops and just a short drive from attractions such as mudbaths and vinpearl. Clean and tidy, extremely helpful staff. They make an effort to remember your name which is nice and are more than happy to help you book tours, day trips, taxis etc. The guesthouse is locked up at night and the family live next door so if you're back late you have to ring the bell and wake them up which we felt guilty about but they are always very friendly!

The room wasn't cleaned the first day, and we were told afterwards that we had to ask for it to be cleaned. Doesn't matter but we'd prefer knowing when we check in so we can ask the morning we need a clean. Also, the credit card machine wasn't working but it is because you have to enter your password on the thing before we put in our PIN. But the lady was so charming and nice, always smiling, it was great time. Thank you :)

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was one of the nicest that we stayed in throughout Vietnam. Breakfast was great. Each day you could choose either noodles or a western breakfast of toast and eggs with juice, coffee tea.. So good to start with a decent breakfast! The owner of the hotel was super nice and very helpful. She gave us many great suggestions. Ask about the best fresh rice paper rolls ever. They were AMAZING! Overall this was a great place to stay!

The nicest place we've stayed so far. The staff were very helpful, the only thing that let it down was that the wifi didn't work but you can use their computers for free in the lobby. Overall would highly recommend.

The room was spatious enough for us 3 and it was very clean. There were some nice touches to the room (decorations etc) and the bathroom was very clean too.

The staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the best I had in Vietnam. I would definitely stay here again.

We were made to feel so welcome I wish we could have stayed longer than the one night we were here. I always appreciate the feeling of staying with family and that was definatley my experience at the Heim Mai!

Well we spent 5 nights here and was everything it promised. Good sized well appointed clean rooms with all working facilities, Prime location for beach and nightlife, but most of all VERY helpful and friendly staff. Go for the balcony rooms on the front!!!! I would not hesitate to stay here again..... I'D EVEN SEND MY MOTHER HERE..... MANY THANKS

Staff were really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was big and clean and had everything we needed. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Great stay, the only downside was when we arrived we asked the staff member if breakfast was included and as she spoke no English she couldn't tell us. We left for the beach the next morning and found out it WAS included but we were too late for it. They made up for it by preparing us an early breakfast the last day when we had to catch an early flight.

The bathroom set up wasn't that great, everything in the bathroom got soaked when you showered. Getting fresh fruit at breakfast was a great additional touch. There was a half empty bottle of water in the mini bar when we arrived. The staff we re so helpful but not pushy like some other staff. We really enjoyed staying with you!
