Hiroshima Hana Hostel Reviews

Great hostel in a really convenient location very close to Hiroshima Railway Station. The staff were really friendly and helpful and provided some great advice. If you happen to stay here when there's a baseball game on you have to go - highlight of our entire Japan trip.

Nice and super clean hostel, conveniently located just five minutes from the train station and the stadium. The staff was awesome: they spoke very good English and were always helpful and ready for a chat, too! :)

Very nice hostel, located a few minutes away main JR station (very convenient to reach Miyajima or any location nearby). Friendly staff, free Wifi, very good rooms with fair amount of space, lockers, our best hostel in Japan.

Very nice hostel, with english speaking staff who can give you a lot of useful information. Location is also nice, 5-7 minutes from Hiroshima Station.

The staff was so friendly and helpful! It was a great environment and the beds/rooms themselves were very clean. I liked that the staff hosted various events so that people staying there could get to know each other. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location, full of character and friendly staff. The kitchen facilities are great, they have everything you need, also free coffee and tea. The bunks have privacy curtains which I always rate highly. Also a lift. You can dry your washing on the roof terrace :-)

Great value. Dorms were clean and comfy. Common area had computers that were free to use. Kitchen had plenty of dishes and free tea/coffee. The staff were VERY helpful for advice and directions. Rooftop patio was awesome to have for laundry. Very close to Hiroshima Station. I would definitely stay here next time I'm in Hiroshima.

Yes we really enjoyed, only there for 2 nights, out early and back late both days, but we enjoyed our short stay and would recommend it highly.

Great place to stay,near the train station,We stayed in a double room,it was lovely ,spacious,comfortable,just like a hôtel room.the staff ils lovely and helpful,i wish i had stayed longer.

Great hostel that's clean and comfortable. Located close to Hiroshima JR and tram station, as well as the enkobashi-cho tram stop. Friendly, helpful staff, and the main reception area has tons of maps and information on stuff to do in Hiroshima. I really liked my stay there!

Compared to other hostels in Japan my room in this hostel was dark, very small and looked in need of a bit of refurbishment but it was comfortable. There wasn't enough room for everyone's bags so when the room was full there really wasn't any space to move. There's a small desk and chair in the room which wasn't needed and could be removed to make more space. It's an easy walk from the station, staff were great and facilities good. There are security lockers near the front door that you can use.

I spent two nights here. First in a twin bed room, second in a dorm. Hostel's location was very good close to railway station and trams. Was a bit tricky to locate though. Follow their written instructions but PASS the rwy xing in street level but turn right before the overpass rwy xing. Staff was friendly, gave me a sip of sake. Rating 3-4 pts out of 5

Operators are very kind, and the place is very beautiful, it's clean a lot. Location is very good, 'cause it's far from main streets.

Staff was very friendly, and helpful. Secure lockers were available for when I wanted to go sight-seeing. Wifi, of course. Very close to Hiroshima station (within walking distance). My only gripe is that is was a ways from restaurants and convenience stores, but a brisk stroll never hurt anyone.

Very helpful and happy staff, good, clean hostel.
