The division between beds is just a piece of curtain. One can hear clearly the movements of the person next to you. This kind of casual division is not common in Japan's numerous hostels, especially in the major cities.

The hostel is in a great location, only 14 min walk to the peace museum. The staff were very friendly and helpful upon arrival and let us store our bags. The facilities are very clean and the bed is super comfortable. They also provide ear plugs so you can get a good nights sleep in the dorms. Overall a great hostel on a budget if you’re visiting Hiroshima. Definitely visit Friendz international bar if you want to meet more travellers from all over the world!
