The only problem I had was the mosquitoes inside the room. I stayed in the room across the street, in the 3rd floor of the Kingston Building. This room had an incredible amount of mosquitoes all over, and I woke up with a lot of bug bites. The street had no mosquitoes at this time, only inside the room. I suggest putting something in the bathrooms to kill the mosquitoes.

Pros: Not in Chung King Mansion Computers available (although off many hours due to overheating) Microwave and small kitchen Decent Wifi signal Price (we stayed in private room) Excellent location near MTR, supermarket, and site-seeing Cons: Bed hard as rock Staff not very helpful Small room (better then average for HK hostels) Bathroom shower over toilet

They say on their sign "360 degree service 24/7" in reality there is no service. We were spoken to so rudely. The staff wouldn't even look at us as we politely asked about the hostels facilities. The computers are turned off constantly (apparently to prevent them overheating). We left this hostel (because of how rude the staff were to us as well as fellow travelers) and went to Yesinn around the block - super helpful and lovely staff - awesome facilities - cleaner and newer and the same price!

Pros: Very good location. Friendly manager . The security - two locked doors before you'd get to the room door. The room itself had AC, hot shower. Access to a water tank. Cons: not every room has WiFi. Worn out rooms. Main lobby always has people there who can be loud, often drinking and smoking. It would be better if smoking wasn't allowed, since it's a closed space. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable, should invest in proper mattress covers. Overall good value for HK but nothing fancy

This hostel is definitely very centrally located and is fantastic value for money. It's basic, but I knew that in advance so didn't have incredibly high expectations. The rooms are clean, my only complaint would be the fact that if you are sharing a room with someone who has checked out, the cleaners come in to strip the bed really early in the morning. However there are Do Not Disturb signs so I should have used that. Good wifi available throughout the hostel and some basic kitchen facilities.

stayed for 4 nights in a single room. it's small, but reasonably clean. nothing fancy, but the main draw is the location; right in the middle of causeway bay.

1 block from metro and trams. Main desk is on 3rd but our room was in a compound on 9th. Common area had a fridge and communal hair dryer. Room was small, hot water ran out in a jiffy. Bed was hard as a rock, and paint chipped off the headboard all over. Only noise came from other travellers, who blew their hair at 1am, and talked on Skype for all to hear! Signs in lobby say any commercial use above 2nd is illegal... but common area and room doors were littered with certification, so...

Ignore the prices and the space restraints because it's HK. don't ignore the fact that the staff were surly, you have to carry the suitcases up 7 flights of stairs, the arrogant comment by the lift 'if you are waiting a long time to go up, use the stairs' (rather than 'the lift only travels down to the ground floor') or the lack of aircon and the dampness in the rooms. The quality is equivalent to a 30 kuai hostel on the mainland. There are lots of things within their power that can be improved.

What i wanted is just a place to sleep and wash so i didnt have much expectations about the hostel but when i walked in the room my friend and i stayed for two days, it was actually a lot better than i thought. We stayed at the twin private ensuit. I read reviews the room is very small but ours wasnt that small to complain. The location is amazing too! Theres nothing to complain about except one thing that ppl stayed the next door(from eng or aus-_-) were like crazy annoying.

This was the second time we came here. The rooms and services are average, but has a great position. Since last time they have risen the prices, now it costs a little to much for what it offers.. Anyway,if you have limited budget is a good place to stay

Nice location to stay in HK specially for Indonesian. Easy to reach popular spots in HK. Just a minute from MTR station and bus stop.

Excellent location. Room is ok. Except for the power point that is a bit loose. Overall a pleasant stay.

At first we were a bit scared because they had to transfer us to another building (Hongkong Mansion) because the hostel was full, but it was okay because the unit was large and clean. They were nice enough to let us use the luggage area for free while waiting for our departure around 8pm.

Location was great. While I appreciated that there was internet, only one of the computers worked. Met some nice people in the commonsroom. I would stay there again.

The main reason I chose this hostel was price and location. It was one of the cheapest hostels I could find and located right next to the Causeway Bay Metro Station as well as several bus stops. The cons...small room, uncomfortable beds, security questionable. The room I stayed in had street construction going on outside which was sometimes annoying. Sheets and towels provided and changed daily which was a plus.

Our first experience when checking in was to hear two French girls get ripped off by the owner; he insisted he didn't have their booking (conveniently, they had booked at a lower price than he was asking!). Secondly, we were not staying in the hostel itself, but in a neglected apartment opposite. Hong Kong is tough for accommodation and for HK it's cheap, but we stayed in better for cheaper. Looked like our 'apartment' hadn't been cleaned for a while! Book as a last resort.

If you are about to chose this hostel, know that the location is great (close to the subway and right in the middle of the city). Nevertheless, the rooms are quite small and if you're staying for longer than a few days you should ask the manager to clean the room cuz that's not done automatically.. Despite the noise of the neighbors, overall good price/quality!

Staying in a single private room was a good experience, would revisit. Can't comment on the multi person rooms.
