Cockrouch in the bathroom...

Pretty decent and functional rooms. Seems like a good value for money. We were placed in a nearby 'satellite' apartment so there where there was no staff or amenities to speak of but they seemed helpful for the small amount of interaction that we had.

The toilet was the worst, didnt flush only fill the boal with water and didnt flush down what i left in there. The room was small and could close the view into the room cause the curtains was broken and the bed hard as rock. But the location was great and close to subway (MTR) but next time i will look for better place.

location is perfect,2mins walk to causeway bay station.it's clean and quiet, beds r soft.my friend actually complained it was too soft, but for me it''s just fine.I'm so lucky that I can understand Cantonese.hairdrier is available. But the shower complitely ruined all of this.It turned cold in less than 15mins.at the second night, experienced it,and my friend couldn't have shower the next morning because there was only cold one running.hopefully we were leaving that morning.

We stayed there two times. First room was a bit poor, the second one obviously was a bit more renotaved (especially the bathroom). Advantages: Our stay was chaep (for Hong Kong very cheap), the location is excellent and there's a 24-h-supermarket next-door.

The people I met were amazing. The location was great. The facilities were so so. It wasn't super clean and the hot water ran out quickly. Also I think the staff of the hostel might be living in the building. The janitor slept on a couch in our lobby. Also, the hostel was very cold, but they will give you extra blankets if you need,. If you can afford it, go somewhere else, but if you can't, you will meet lots of cool people and be in a great location.

The room was ok and convienient, but the tv did not work, the bed for two was tiny and the people at the reception did not seem to bother. Neither did the wifi work well. The good thing about the place was the location!

Superb location. We lived in a three-person ensuite so we were able to use the bathroom inside our room. The beds were nicely made before our arrival. And there were flip flops for us to rest our feet. Would be a budget place to stay for the night without much trouble. Would advise you to bring towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, bottled water or a travelers bottle that can hold boiling water for yourself. Additional info:: lousy wifi, a bit noisy, no cups or glasses.

Very good location. Every time i stay there they give me a better room than i booked. You can use hot water from boiler in the common room to make tea/coffe. there is a playful cat, they allow him to go to common room only at night, also take care if guests like it or not. Usually everybody likes, he's nice. Staff is helpful. Of cource, no heating in rooms, but its everywhere in HK. Good value for the money. In Kowloon you can live cheaper, but its noisy and a lot of men starung you.HK is better

The Hostel is nicely located so travellers can easily go to all important sights. The Hostel itself is clean and offers all facilities needed. I would recommend bringing a private locker to close the cupboard properly.

The hostel was in a great location in Hong Kong and it was pretty good value. I would stay here again. However my room wasn't the quietest, I could still here a lot of traffic outside. The room itself was good, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. My major concern was when I left my luggage in the hostel the next day, when I came back to pick it up I just took my bag, no questions...I could have been anyone off the street.

I got a 4bed dorm but booked a 3bed dorm. Okay. Don't be afraid the hint that the hostel is operating illegally. Nothing happened and it's just a sheet of paper. Cleanliness was absolutely okay but the beds are very hard. Make sure you check out all the various names of the hostel which are available on hostelworld and book the cheapest. Its all the same und you pay the price of your confirmation

Hostel should inform that there're second place at another building block. I wanted to stay at original one which has staff and common room.

The staff are very friendly, the location is good, but my room is located in another building outside the lobby, which is unclean and a bit smelly.

The hostel was one of dirtiest places I had ever stayed. The main building was probably alright, apart from the inside smoking. But the building I got walked down to was not what I signed up for and was so dogy, I had booked for 3 nights but left after my first. The bathroom was revolting and shower broken with mould all over the basin

Pros: Great location in Causeway Bay; Some of the staff helpful; Beds clean Cons: Overpriced for what you get; Worse internet reliability than even most developing countries; Many of the staff don't speak even a word of English -- at 7am the woman at the counter (cleaning staff) yelled at me in Chinese until I gave her my room key; Smoking is allowed in common rooms; To use the computers, you have to ask staff to turn them on (locked); Saw toilets cleaned w/o toilet cleaner by staff.
