The Hospedaje is an excellent place to stay when in Puerto Montt. As it's part of the owners house, like many hospedajes, it gives a sense of a home stay. The Owner was lovely and helpful, while her english was not perfect, it was better than some and communication was easy. The one down point is the location. It's close enough to the ferry terminal and bus station, but it's up a hill, so difficult for those carrying heavy baggage and on arrive, the streets are a little confusing.

This is a nice hostel if you are only having a couple of nights. It`s more of a bed and breakfast, I don`t think there are any dorms. The owners are really nice, will try to give you any tips or advise and are interested in what you have done/where you are going. They don`t speak english that well. As a solo traveller it was just what I needed for one night. Close to the bus station, my own room, TV, a good place to recouperate. Maybe for a couple it would be perfect.

I had a lovely time at this family owned B&B. Everything was clean and very comfy, the showers were warm, the owners were lovely and very hospitable. Breakfast was brilliant, fresh milk and homemade bread were a real treat. I will happily stay here again if i return to Puerto Montt.

I really enjoyed the stay in this hostel. It is quiet, clean and welcoming. The breakfasts are excellent and the house is very clean. I intended to spend one night there, I booked two and finally stayed for four. Highly recommended for people who really need a rest and some quality time away from the buzz of the typical hostel. Lovely quiet place run by a nice lady. The best breakfast that I had during my six-week stay in Chile and Argentina.

Very nice family run hospedaje. The lady was very nice and made breakfast for us earlier than the given hours, so we can catch our morning bus with a full stomach. Moreover, the breakfast was great with homemade bread and jam. It's a pity that there is not much to do in Puerto Montt itself - would have totally stayed in this hospedaje longer.

This is a warm, clean and homely place to stay with a wonderful host. Not much English is spoken but it never was a problem, such was the kindness. I encountered some problems with lost luggage at the airport and the support I got from Eliana was faultless. The house is in a residential area, seemingly away from the main 'hub', but is nonetheless only 5-10mins' walk from the Navimag ferry port that brings so many visitors to Puerto Montt. The room was clean and tidy and the breakfast (including homemade jam

This Hospedaje was a great surprise in my trip. It is a familiar place, where everything is placed for you to feel at home. Eliana is very helpful and always gives nice tips. Excelent beds, cleam rooms and home made breakfast.

Very nice place run by a very nice lady. The location is within walking distance to the bus station and to El Angelmo where I had a lovely seafood dinner. The view is excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay at vista del mar. The room was very cosy, a lot space and clean - everything we needed. The breakfast with Yoghurt and Fruits and more - like at home. The owner was very friendly and helpful with information around Puerto Montt. The hostel is a bit up mountain, but still walking distance. We would definitely recommend this hostel - especially perfect for a cuple.

Very nice lady ownes the very nice house. Would definitely stay there again. It's near Cruz del Sur terminal, however it's uphill to get there (positive thing is: great view from the rooms).

More a b&b than a hostel. Great location for the ferry and bus, not so good for the centre of town, but there isn't much there anyway. The owners are lovely and the breakfast is superb, homemade bread and jam.

Best hostel of all those where we've stayed so far in South America. Eliana is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ample and varied. The view is probably the best in town. Room was plenty big, more than enough blankets were available, and everything was sparkling clean. The neighborhood isn't the best, but it's convenient to the bus station and the ferry terminal, and it is walkable to the center.
