Hospedaje Vista al Mar is an excellent hostel. It is a large house, home to Eliana (the owner) and her husband, with many extra bedrooms. The bathrooms had hot water; the bedrooms were very clean; the beds had several blankets that kept us warm here in the South of Chile. Also, for breakfast, Eliana offered yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, cheese, salami, and delicious apple empanadas served hot out of the oven!

What a wonderful place to stay! The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful with everything from drying clothes to booking day tours. The best part? Fresh-baked apple empanadas and tea the first evening of my visit!

Really nice owner. When I came back late from the tour and couldn't get dinner, she shared home made dinner with me. Breakfast was awesome with fresh fruit salad and toasted buns. She made breakfast flexible so i had once even at 7:15 am when i had to catch a bus soon after. The location is not so close to the terminal or Plaza Armas but you can walk to the terminal and Angelmo market (if you don't carry your huge backpack). Wifi works very well and you can just feel like staying at "home".

The place deserves its name with its very nice view over the bay. Everything is absolutely clean - very good bathroom. Best breakfast we've had so far. Selfmade bread and marmelade.. Very friendly owner. Fast internet. Hospedaje: no common room .. but a very nice and warm kitchen.

Eliana does a great job at running the B&B. She serves a superb breakfast at any time you want, the rooms are clean and comfortable and she is very knowlegeable about Puerto Montt and the Buses/Flights from an to the city. We stayed there again the second time we passed through Puerto Montt.
