Comfortable, safe and enjoyable stay. The staff were polite and generous and were always there for a chat. The house itself is beautiful and the dorms are spacious. Will come back soon.
It felt just like at home. Very good to be at peace. Calm and quiet, in a calm and quiet area. They were nice enough to serve breakfast in the morning. Security was good too. Didn't feel like there was any risk of getting any of my stuff stolen. Very clean place. It is close to Frida's museum. Close enough to the metro too.
Beautiful home in Coyoacan district converted into a small hostel. Great place to get away from the hustle bustle of downtown DF. Very quiet nights, unless you get a snorer in your room. Good-sized lockers (you need your own lock). But. The front desk ppl don't distribute maps (even photocopied ones) and give you a summary of your surroundings. The bathrooms always smell funky. The urinal doesn't work properly. Not all showers seem to have its hot water working. It's a 20minute walk to metro.
DO NOT BOOK VIA HOSTELWORLD! The email for this listing does not work and your reservation will not be received. I attempted to contact the hostel via email, the contact form on their website and Facebook and none of my messages were returned. Fortunately the receptionist at my previous hostel called and confirmed my reservation. If your booking is lost, the staff will try to honour it, but it's not worth the risk. Otherwise, the hostel is clean, quiet and Coyoacan is a GREAT area.
The guys who run this place are the loveliest people. The hostel is big, clean and in a great location. The breakfast is amazing.
