Bathrooms are old so they could look dirty. One of the dogs is a bit noisy but in the night it's ok. I really liked the quiet atmosphere and the hammocks in the garden!

Cool place, love the hammocks. Very secure, good location. Showers were clean. Room was clean, bed was not the most comfortable, but fine. Always playing nice music, great atmosphere.

Very cool place! A nice oasis, great to just hang out, drink coffee, and sit in the hammock. Glad to see they're working on making it ecological.

Would be good to have staff present during the night as well to open the door for us or at least give one key to each person staying there and not just one per group of persons. I got stuck outside for 45 min without a key before someone fortunately came out and I could go in.

This is a great hostel with as really nice vibe, a great place, the bathroom facilities are poor, however location and atmosphere outweigh these negatives. The owner is a really nice guy and their dogs are great.

This was a terrific hostel in many ways. Very secure, friendly staff, the rooms were big, the beds were comfortable and it was very well located. The thing that let it down for me was the condition of the communal shower. It just looked really grubby. I stayed only one night on the basis of this one fact alone.

Die Lage des Hostals ist in Ordnung und ma ist schnell im Stadtzentrum, die Hostelbesitzer hingegen gehen jedoch gar nicht....sind ziemlich uninteressiert an ihren Gästen, Hauptsache das Geld passt....von besonderer Hostelatmosphaere ist nichts zu spüren

What a great hostal, lovely atrium/courtyard, great friendly staff, cheap beers available, with confortable bunks, all in a great location. Awesome.

We really enjoyed our stay in oaxaca, due to the central location and the friendly welcome in Hostal Luz de Luna Nuyoo The staff and the hosts were really friendly and the place was decorated with lots of love... Very good focus on recycling and energy saving ... Highly recommended :)

The hostel was noisy (outdoor, other guests, and from cabanas on the roof that creek and seem very dangerous), somewhat smelly (of smoke in rooms from the center patio and also from exhaust from the street just outside). The bed was not comfortable at all. Wifi had a very very narrow range. The staff wasn't very helpful with places to go at all- didn't know about hiking, tours, or even which restaurants to go to. In all, we were pretty disappointed.

My girlfriend and I stayed there 4 nights. We booked an ensuite room that did not have shower but just a leaking toilet with blood on the wall. Overall pretty noisy, specially when the 3 dogs start to bark as they are roaming free in the whole hostel (kitchen incl.). Staff not really useful (do not even know where is the closest corner store).

OK Hostel - good value for money but limited on facilities and atmosphere. Staff were not overly helpful. No shower in room, despite ensuite being advertised.
