- Loud music played by the staff for most of the day until curfew ( rooms are soundboxes). - Grimmy rooms and even much grimmier common showers and kitchen. - Friendly staff, but not very up there (forgets to give change, do not mention the free breakfast,...). - Staff quarters up on the roof, not sound proof (even their all-night phone conversations can be heard very clearly in rooms). - Messy common areas (dirty cups of coffee and full ashtrays lying everywhere, etc...)

The reason why I rated facilities poor is that they have very old computer, that I often went out to use Internet Cafe. Computer and Internet use is good for checking emails and information but not for uploading photos. The patio is nice but the problem is that people smokes in the patio, its very close to dormitory and it smells very bad. Staff need to work more on information of the city of Oaxaca. I had to get map from tourism office because they do not have it. Dogs are awesome!

A great experience, Gustavo, Eno and the crew were awesome. I will have very fond memories of Oaxaca due mostly to the incredible people working and staying at this hostel. 10 out of 10.

Very cheap, very friendly staff, makes you feel like home. Great interior place to chill out and great location also.
