This hostel was more like a hotel. The upstairs terrace was nice with a view of the castle santa barbara. The free breakfest was also very nice! They messed up our reservation though and gave us a room with singles instead of one double. They also claim to have laundry service but it is never available because they are always washing towels. Altogether it is worth the price.

I really liked the hostel. First, the location is really good. It is right by the Santa Barbara Castle, an art museum, and a church. From the terrace, you can see the castle. The breakfast is also really nice. It is a full breakfast with bread, orange juice, muffins, ham, and cheese. I liked it a lot. The hostel allowed me of luggage storage and kitchen use after check which were great. I would definitely go back to this hostel when i visit Alicante next time.

the milagrosa is great value for money. the staff and other guests were very nice. the free breakfast was simple but perfectly adequate. the location is great and the terrace is a fantastic chill-out area. the only downside was that some people were not very respectful to other guests as they clattered about speaking loudly during the night. all in all, it was a pleasure to stay at the milagrosa and i would hope to return some day.

The hostel was great. Right at the edge of the barrio so you don't have the noise on the weekends but youre a 5 minute walk away! Im an exchange student from America, living in alicante and just needed a place to stay with my mom while she was visiting. The beds were comfy and the guy at the front desk even printed a boarding pass for us at the last minute! Of all the good things about it, the location is the best, weather you want a short walk to the beach or a short walk to the barrio!

This isn't a cheap hostel but you know what you've paid for. It's clean, well kept, up to standards and in a great location. Very highly recommended.

Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, nice top roof terrace where you serve yourself breakfast (white bread, butter, jam, honey, ham, cheese, tea, coffee, orange juice). Quite poor standard of bed and room (but OK for the cheap price). LCD-TV in room was nice. Free internet by the reception was also a plus.

The free breakfast and internet was a welcomed surprise. A kitchen where guests can cook is a great idea. The staff are friendly, helpful and speak english.
