Great area to hang out in and fantastic food to accompany your sesh. If you're going to amsterdam Absolutely stay here, it's in a great area, has great food, pool and fusbal to emtertain you between your sessions or food orders and is fairly well kept. The bathrooms seem very new and there's a clean one in every hallway in case yours is over-run. I stayed there

The hostel is 2 minutes walk to the Red Light Distric. The bar is very good, but the break fast is a little expencive. My only complain is about the mess in the corridors of the hostel. My last night there was hard to sleep `cause of the noise made for some guys screaming during a few hours and the staff didn`t do anything. But in general is a very good hostel e the localization compensates.

The hostel was very good. Excellent location! It had a bar that served as a common area. I would definitely stay in this hostel again!

This hostel was nice and clean and in a great spot- 5 mins walk from Dam Square- but the front of house people were absolute jerks, you had to jump through hoops to fill up your waterbottle with clean water (we just kept asking at the bar) as there aren't taps in the bigger rooms, and some of the staff were just generally jerks. They refused to let us use a phone, and turned up the heat way way way too much at night. Although, they do have free towels!! Good for a couple of nights, but no more!

Great location. Nice enough bar (but too expensive). Could do with actual computers, not just wifi - not everyone has a laptop or smartphone with them.

Stayed in a three bed ensuite at the Globe over NYE, the room was extremely clean and a decent size. It\'s right in the heart of where you want to be and close to central station. The other facilities including the bar, smoking/games/chillout room and public bathrooms were also great even at such a busy time. As for the staff, they were extremely nice and helpful, being three girls their advice was great and Yu is amazing!! No \'socially retarded\' people allowed at the globe lol.

Staff were very welcoming . Everything very clean. Cleaners didn't just come in when they needed to clean the room. They knocked on door and then if we didn't want it cleaned would leave it . Staff were excellent and would definitely come go back again. Thank you

It was a great overall experience, the bar was nice and the rooms were comfortable. Located in a prominent area of the city, just 10 mins walk away from the Central Station. The toilets were pretty well maintained as well. Only gripe is on our 2nd night, the guy who was manning the reception was absolutely rude to us- when we asked simple questions, he alluded to the fact that we couldn't read signs and find out the information ourselves. i mean if signs were all we needed, what was his use?

DO NOT STAY HERE. The location of this hostel is probably the only good thing about it. The bar/reception area is dirty and uninviting, staff are unhelpful and unfriendly, the bathrooms were left a lot to be desired, the beds felt like they were going to fall apart, and, at €28 for a Saturday night, it's just not worth it. Definitely not value for money. No computers for travelers without laptops or smartphones to use the internet - wifi only. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Good place, especially if you have only 2-3 days in Amsterdam. Direct access to Red district and coffee shops. You will have 20 % discount at the Pub downstairs. English breakfast is delicious in the morning.

I only staid for one night and did not spend much time in the hostel! Staff was excellent, really friendly, great tips for finding a place to eat/drink/dance! Staid in a 3 bed private with a private WC, which was really modern and clean!
