Good room, but was missing electrical sockets

My party really enjoyed our stay...however the building work was a little annoying and we would of preffered to have been made aware of it at the time of the booking

It was the creepiest hostel i've ever stayed in. It has a sports bar downstairs and it's located in the Red District, so when I arrived there (a girl, by myself), the place was packed with middle-age men watching football who probably come to Amsterdam to enjoy the services of the red district. I didn't feel comfortable AT ALL. If you're going to Amsterdam by yourself, like I did, or just with a group of girl friends, I advise you not to stay there, because the ambiance can be quite hostile.

This is a great place to stay for a couple of nights. Food is lovely and people are pleasent. Have access to a bar and smoking room that is open until 5 in the morning and 20 % discount off all the food. Would definatly stay here again! :-)
