Hotel Alda Plaza Mayor Reviews

Very convenient location for visiting old Salamanca, Plaza Mayor is right around the corner. Across the street old San Martin church, on top of it a big stork nest, we loved waching them from our bed. Friendly staff, the cafe downstairs has nice atmosphere, though the breakfast they serve kind of thin for my taste.

The hotel didn't really seem to have staff. When we checked, there was only the bartender and he, understandably had to perform his bartending duties, and didn't have time for questions. There really is not atmosphere to speak of, as there really isn't a front desk or common areas. The location was excellent though, and the rooms, were small, but adequate. The beds were very comfortable.

Lovely hostel, very central, well priced

This is not a party hostel. It´s a hotel, albeit a small budget one. It was clean, nice and with a fantastic location in Old Town, 2 minutes walk from the Plaza Mayor. Great staff; when we checked in, the lady working called my friend´s phone company for her because we couldn´t do it well enough in Spanish. I would definitely stay here again. Great value for the money. Rooms are small, but that doesn´t really matter.
