Good Clean Place , Excellent location . Great Value for Money . Only down side - Bit dull , didn't get to meet any fellow travelers, which as a solo traveler rather bummed me out.

Charming place to stay. Well run with friendly helpful staff. Extended my stay here and would stay here again if in Puducherry. (Pondicherry)

Hosts were extremely friendly. Rooms easily worth twice the price. Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff and great location (proximity to the restaurants, bars, beach). Only thing I realized is they have some sort of 12am (midnight) curfew that they request all guests to be back in their rooms (or so a sign says that is posted in the room). Seems odd for a hotel. It didn't affect me during this stay as I needed to be up early every morning, but usually only ashram (religious/spiritual) guesthouses have such restrictions, not hotels (not even heritage hotels, like this one).

The staff here are lovely and very helpful. Great value, only a short walk to the french district. Could use a lick of paint, but was clean.

Whilst the hostel is clean and nice enough we felt ripped off. After cancelled flights and getting stuck in sri lanka, 3 of our group of 5 made it to Pondi (a bit of a hole). We had two friends arriving coincidently to Pondicherry on the same night and after a clear discussion with the lady at the front desk it was decided that they would stay in the place of the two stuck in Sri Lanka. When it came to leaving the same lady charged us for the extra rooms, effectively doubling the cost!
