The only thing we really liked about this location was the location. Things that the hostel could improve upon is a locked storage room for luggage (luggage is just out in the open for anyone to take), staff weren't super friendly, and the building is definitely do for some upgrades. The bathrooms/showers have mold on the ceilings too :( Also, there wasn't a good atmosphere to meet other people as there are a bunch of older people at this hostel and not a younger traveling crowd.
This was a decent place to stay. The price is a bit higher than some of the surrounding hotel/hostels but the facilities are all comparable. The location is great as its only two stops from Namba/downtown Osaka. I wouldnt mind staying here again.
Rooms were clean, no noise, no weird smells, just perfect. Showers on the other hand were a bit.... funky... They weren't realy dirty, but they also weren't clean. You can get clean towels everyday if you like and there is a Japanese Bathhouse on the ground floor.
Nice hostel near a metro stop in Osaka with helpful staff. We thought we had booked a twin room for two, turns out we each got our own little room! Very comfy, and a little luxury to have your own space, if only for one night. Security was good, common area looked like a cool place to hang out. My only complain was the showers are closed for cleaning every day starting an hour before checkout. Can't they wait one hour for people leaving to shower? That was disappointing for me.
It is a very cheap hotel, and you can get a single for very cheap. That's it. That's the deal. It ain't the Ritz, but it is perfectly adequate.
