Can't complain for the price! It's safe, great location (next to the tube and two stops from Namba), hot showers and clean and recently refurbished toilets. Very basic bed on the floor type accommodation but for £8 a night you're not compromising on anything which really matters. Only real gripe is that you can smoke in the rooms (which might be good for some) but it meant the corridors sometimes smelt of stale smoke.

Had to wait in the foyer to check into my room, and had been waiting five and a half hours when I noticed they were letting new arrivals check in. Not very impressed. Also the only ladies toilets on level 9 were only accessible through a mens urinal.

Said there was A/C but it is controlled by hotel and was very HOT

The whole floor smelt awful. I don't even know what it smelt like but that made it even worse. Cigarette smoke and pornos widely available downstairs. Girl showers weren't bad. And at least you can wash your clothes therr.

Not one single person in the staff spoke enough English, I don't even mean perfect, but just enough to communicate properly. I know it's a cheap place, but EVERY hostel I've ever been to -regardless the price- has provided Shampoo and Conditioner, as well as hand soap and this one, not even hand soap in their toilets, what's with the general hygiene? Also, they have an Only-Women floor and they wouldnt give us (me and my sister) a room there, which is the also the only floor with women restrooms

There was an incredible amount of renovation going on during our stay, meaning the hostel was dirty and almost all of the toilets were closed, if you needed the toilet in the night you were required to go many floors up or down, which is very inconvenient. In addition the toilets were very dirty. Plus the queues for the showers (even at 3am) took over an hour! It may be cheap, but it still isn't worth it.

Very minimal but it's cheap and you get your own room with a tv and fridge. Very close to the station with lots of restaurants and convinience store in a walking distance.

check in time was 9am so i went there asap because i had many things to do that day , but when i arrived they told me the room would be ready at lunch time...i had to go again to get a room at the moment. apart from that the rest was fine except one of the receptionists was kinda rude.

The bathroom is quite small and not confortable, the tatami bed is way to hard for me. the location is ok and staff is nice.

담배냄새 쩔어있지만 대충 하루 숙박은 잠만자기엔 대충갠찬아요. 좀 쾌쾌.

The hostel is in an area where poor people are living. At night, it was a little bit scary to walk around, because of the drunk Japanese old man who were starring at us. But it was easy to go from the hostel to Namba or the castle without paying money for the train. The atmosphere in the hostel was okay. Our room smelled like a pub, therefore our clothes also smelled like cigarettes. For women maybe not the best, but the shower rooms and toilets were clean.

Small tiny box with blanket on the floor. If you don't smoke and want to start this is a great place to get your daily fix...having said that the location was excellent walking distance to everything and loved the city.
