The hostel location is great, the street leading in is full of street food and vendors. Staff was helpful and polite. We had a room on the second floor - basic with a TV. Lack of outlets and the bathroom door was see-through, a little awkward as my guyfriend and I were sharing a twin-bed room. Hot water worked well though. No complaints really. The place doesn't have much character but it was very clean and well-kept.
Absolutely loved our stay here. The owner, Monty, was really amazing and gave us great, honest advice - including directions, trekking tours, restaurants, cooking classes, the best place to hire scooters, and even places to get massages! He was also kind enough to securely look after our backpacks overnight when we made the trip to Pai without actually staying in the hostel. The all-day free coffee also made it! Nice, clean, cool rooms - but remember your own toilet paper!
A simple and clean base of operations for your trip to Chiang Mai. Great location, and the staff can help you book trips out if you ask.
This place is in a great location right next to Somphet Market with lots of street vendors and restaurants. The staff was great and was incredibly helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
The location is incredible. The street that this hostel on has a lot of great things, early opening breakfast places, lots of spas, a market and lots of cheap places to eat. The staff was helpful on giving us useful advice and helped us book trips. The rooms were decent, although my only complaint would be that the bathroom doors are somewhat see-through which can be awkward depending who you are rooming with and they didn't provide toilet paper.
For us, the staff is not helpful, sometimes bad to us. Cannot stand for it. We cancel the tour which booked in the reciption, they step into our room while we were not in there. Bad, suggest u never try this......
Good: Immediately next to Somphet Market, but no heavy traffic. Spotlessly clean. I tried but failed to find a spot. Bad: Hot shower is very cold. An extra blanket will cost you 50 Baht. No Key for dorm room. No toilet paper. You need to bring your own lock for the locker. Some beds far from electric sockets. The locker area for bed number 1, 2, 3 are cramped -- if #1 is using the locker, 2 and 3 cannot use. With this dorm price you can find a double room elsewhere.
Very clean centrally located hostel, room service almost everyday, near Saturday and Sunday market.Plenty good and cheap restaurants nearby.
Very enjoyable stay, great location, staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, so good we stayed for an extra 4 nights!
Nice, clean hostel. Great location- a little bit on a side-street so you don't get noise from the main road, but it's easy to walk nearly everywhere.
Not the greatest for meeting other travelers, and not the best value in the area but I stayed during festival. Free coffee is instant,..., so, not really coffee. The private room with AC is great, but on the backside of the hostel, the view from the patio is no good. 24 hr security guard, and very secure location. Hot shower is not always hot.
