no atmosphere in the dorm at all, but very good facilities (good firm bed, giant locker for all your stuff, hot showers - who se fit tall persons, a rarity in thailand - etc.)

Very nice hostel with good facilities, free movie rentals with deposit, and very clean dorms/bathrooms. Was very happy with our choice! Very close to train station which was good for our early morning check out to the train. A bit of a walk to other major sites. Huge lockers in the room are great and every bed has a light and plugs!!! We were very happy with our choice.

Clean & secure, not a party place, so good if you want a quiet place to stay in BKK. I booked single room/ensuite bathroom - clean, good size, had safety deposit box.You get complementary water everyday. Bathroom smelt a bit damp though (but not a big issue). Location is good - metro station immediately outside, a few minutes walk to the main train station (great for day trip s), 10 minute walk to Chinatown. Grand Palace/Wat Pho/Khaosan Rd is cheap taxi ride away (or about 40min walk).

Relatively clean, very small room but it was all i needed on holiday, the staff were really helpful and smiley, didnt have the cash to pay on arrival they said whenever its available, liked the lobby wi all the guests just hanging out there, indoor tables and outdoor ones for smokers, location was good and near to many things, subway station just outside the hostel door was a great convenience, taxis available all the time. Would go back there again

Was great - a good first hostel in Bangkok for those not wanting to be in the thick of things but have good access to it and everywhere while being able to step away. Great service, friendly staff, good coffee, good Wi Fi.

Our stay was ok ... The room did not look like the pictures, and we had a room next to the fire exit which made it very unsafe ...

the staff is very kind and helpful - 24/7 reception, and they sort you out with everything you might need from airport shuttle to day trips, luggage storage, printing, copying, phone calls and the alike. very nicely located directly at Hua Lamphong station, quick train ride to pretty much anywhere you want to go (except Khao San Road - you'll have to take a taxi or tuktuk there which is a bit annoying, only a couple of dollars though). I enjoyed my stay, good place to start and end your trip.

I've stayed here at several occations visiting Bangkok. The location is great, conveniently near by the Hua Lamphong train station and the busy and colourful China town, but it is at the same time quiet and cosy, and a great place to hang out and relax. The rooms are clean and the shared grounds, with a great restaurant for both local and international food (the salmon steak is SUPERB - and this comes from a Norwegian) and it is a good place to meet people. A bit costly, but good value for money

@Hua Lampong is a great place to stay. Not real close to the action, but very easy access to transport - especially the airport. I'd stay here any day over Khao San road. I arrived at the hostel just after 7am, and within about 10mins I was able to check in to my room, at no extra charge. The staff were very helpful, If I'm in Bangkok again I would happily stay here again. Thank-you!!

Thought it was a really nice place to stay. Very clean and lovely staff. The location is what did it for me though. Steps from the Hua Lamphong station it was so easy to catch my train to Chiang Mai and feet from the MRT subway meant most of the down town area was really accessible. Would stay here again.

I've stayed here several times now and I keep coming back because it's so close to the train station, there's street food, massage places, restaurants nearby. Chinatown is a 15 min walk, they give you a free towel + body wash and shampoo and the cafe downstairs always serves good food. It's about 100 baht in a tuktuk or 50-70 baht in a taxi to Khao san Rd and it's quiet at night for a good sleep.

I appreciated that the janitors cleaned out the rooms every day. Even though I was staying for a couple of nights and didn't need to have my sheets changed, they offered to get new ones for me. Being less than a minute away from the nearest subway exit, the hostel was extremely easy to find.

Place is well cleaned daily and the staff genuinely helpful and friendly. Well located as it is right next to station and underground. It has an entertainment room for times where you just want to relax. The price is fairly ok considering the place is better than some other hostels you would find although I think it would benefit more if slightly cheaper as the cost is a huge decision maker for many travelers. Also the Wi-fi doesn't work well from the rooms. In general a good hostel. :)

Great location is you need to catch a train or the subway. Also close to Bangkok's Chinatown. A Modern-ish building with good lounge areas, and a nice cafe downstairs. Dorm was pretty standard, but clean. Huge lockers, i fit my whole bag with room to spare, two showers sinks and toilets in bathroom. Helpful staff, know the area.
