Amazing location, with amazing staff that were super helpful and helped me and my friends book buses and organise transport. The rooms are spacious and were cleaned daily. Highly recommend.

I personally did not have a positive experience with the atmosphere as I did not fully grasp the warnings the hostel very clearly gave, and that is fully on me. My advice is that you should stay here *only* if you are absolutely sure you want a heavy drinking, heavy party atmosphere. If that's what you want, Mad Monkey is probably your best bet. Cleanliness and comfort was reasonable, and the location is ideal for Khao San road, but far from the metro. Staff are quite helpful.

You have a few options to choose from when it comes to public transport. The BTS Skytrain and MRT are ideal if you’re sticking to the city centre and surrounding areas. For shorter journeys you can also jump on the back of a motorcycle taxi or Tuk Tuk. Getting from Suvarnabhumi Airport to the city centre is easy as well, thanks to the Airport Rail Link (ARL) which takes around 30 minutes.
