The hostel wasn't very large or charismatic but the staff was fun, helpful, and Mr. Yano was an awesome tour guide. He was the most interesting person I met. The location is so close to the JR station and the restaurants around the hostel were great!

I had a great stay and the location was very convenient. The staff were very friendly and really helpful with the check in and assisting with questions about osaka. Overall I would probably stay at J hoppers again if I was to return to Japan

I really apprecate J-hopper Osaka not simply for a place to stay but the activities to allow residence to experience real local Osaka community and culture. I really appreciate the Friday night drinks that bring foreign hotel guest with local Japanese folks for exchange. Mr Yano is awesome and really thankful for his effort in taking us to a local izakaya

the hostel is in Fukushima, just 1 stop from Osaka station on the JR loop line, so perfect location. facilities like all the other J-hoppers (everything provided). rooms are not too small. i didn't like it as much as i should have but i still don't know why (maybe bc of my roommates???). would stay there again though. And go out with Mr. Yano: i heard u'll have a great time if u do that! ;)

Lovely hostel in a prime location. The major Osaka transit stations are just one or two stops from Fukushima station, which is a short walk from the hostel. The staff is incredibly helpful with everything from understanding cultural nuances to recommending the best store to purchase a new camera. Pristine facilities with ample privacy and a comfortable atmosphere. The lack of a lift is not an issue as they can store large luggage on the first floor.

It is a good value for money hostel well located. The staff is very nice, but it is a rather noisy hostel. We still liked our stay and can recommend staying there if you are looking for a good priced accommodation in a good location. The hostel was clean and they have a washing machine and dryer.

the towels they have for rent vary in size and style. so for 70 yen, each guest doesn't get the same quality. some of the towels even have holes in them. the bed and comforters used are not as comfortable as other hostels. there is only one toilet on each floor (except for the 2nd and 3rd floor) which must be shared by 5 rooms (10+ people). there is only 4 shower rooms located on the 2nd and 3rd floor that must be used by all 5 floors of rooms. there is no elevator which makes things difficult

One of the best andof the most well equipped hostels I stayed at. Well organized rooms with plenty of shelves to hold bags and suitcases. Well equipped kitchen with fairly priced beer vending machine, but slightly smallish common room (helps getting in touch though!). Very clean and very helpful staff. Located about 10 minutes walk from peace park and 4 minutes from the next tram stop which you can use to get to Hiroshima station. Fair price, recommended stay in Hiroshima!

Excellent location that is very close to Fukushima subway (2 minutes ride to Shin-Osaka main station, and not far from that to Osaka main station) and next to some food outlets and a 7-11. I love J-Hoppers' free tea and coffee and the kitchen that is available to all customers. Rooms simple and clean, showers clean with free shampoo and body soap. Could have easily stayed here for a while! Would definitely recommend J-Hoppers to all.

It is one of the best hostel's that I have staying in. The staff are excellent hosts and really helpful. I was travelling alone and the hostel provided a range of activities that helped me to get to know other travellers and local Japanese people. It was a great experience and I highly recommend J-Hoppers Osaka to other travellers.

After Hiroshima and Kyoto, this was my third J-Hoppers in Japan. We were in a double room for one night and the mattress was a little worn. Apart from that it was really good.
