I liked the fact that you are fifteen minutes away from a major train station and a two minute walk from a minor one. The floors are too hard, and the AC is seriously temperamental. There are nights where I couldn't sleep because the AC is so. Some of the bunkbeds squeak so it gets noisy when somebody tosses and turns. Otherwise a good hostel. They have a lot of activities that they do with their guests which is all good fun. Not many hostels probably do that.

I have been to many hostels since I started traveling a couple years ago and this is by far one of the top places I have stayed. The staff is amazing and the owner is so much fun. He really cares about the people staying in his hostel and actively engages with everyone. The place is clean and I like that there isn't a curfew... I just wish people would respect others if they come in at 4am. But that's not the hostels fault. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Osaka!!

Great place to stay in Osaka. Close to Osaka station and on a street with some nice restaurants and bars. Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms and showers were nice and clean. I'd definitely go back.

I had a great time at J-hoppers Osaka! It was clean and had great access to the many sights in Osaka. Everybody came and went freely making it a great opportunity to make friends. One of the things I am very grateful for is the openness of the place. Even though the check out time was 11:00 am the staff very kindly allowed me to keep my luggage there until the time I boarded the bus. It was a great place to pass the time because there was always someone to talk to.

Great hostel. Welcoming atmosphere, comfortable beds, friendly staff, convenient and happening area close to main train and bus terminals. What else can a traveler need? Oh, super clean too. With regards to design, nothing special, but the roof is wonderful.

Very recommended choice when you visit osaka. The staff is very nice and helpful. The atmosphere is excellent. There is a party for the guests at friday night to socialize. The room is also excellent, very clean and enjoyable. Shared shower room, but also very clean. Body soap, shampoo, and hairdryer is provided with no charge. Computer and print service is also available. Great location, less than 5 min walk to the JR station and 10 min to the hanshin. Will come back there in the next visit :)
