good stay! everything was good a bit hard to find. its in easy to find location but you can add up direction description more. like once you turn left before mister donut if you keep walking you see two ways to keep going. you need to take right one instead of left! its a bit tricky!

J hoppers!! staff were very nice, and love to hang out and chat with everyone. the location is very good, very close to the osaka loop line and the area has many small bars and restaurants. Go to the standing bar for some live music and all the peanuts you can eat!!!

Easy to find and good as Base to discover Osaka and surroundings

I thought it was a great place to stay and I like the little events on random nights that they had. I thought that was a great extra to experience.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. We only intended to stay for one night but booked another as they had space. Staff were friendly, helpful and could speak English well! Whole hostel was clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable. The international party which occurs evey friday is a must, met some fun people. Location was also good, Fukushima station only 2 mins away. Area was much to our liking. Overall I would strongly recommend this hostel.

I loved J-Hoppers Osaka! Great location near many restaurants and a subway. Fun atmosphere that is great to meet people. The best part is the staff - super helpful, super friendly and all-around awesome!

This hostel was excellent, the staff were very helpful and friendly and organised a number of different activities and parties for travellers to enjoy themselves and get to know other people. This is particularly good hostel if you are a lone traveller as you get to meet many people from all over the world. During my stay there i made many new friends who made my time there even better and i would highly recommend it. Osaka is an excellent city and you should visit there if you are in japan

Easy to find but not so center in the city. In fact, it will be a nightmare when you travel with your suitcase during rush hour as it is one station away from the main train station. It should be an excellent accommodation for backpackers! Staff are great!

Great place to stay in Osaka. Located close to a JR station so getting there is no problem. Do advice getting a subway ticket to get around though. I didn't had a chance to meet Mr Yano but he organizes several fun activities. Rooms are fairly large and very clean.

Enjoyed my stay here, very easy location to find, and close to plenty of restaraunts and shops. Met some good people in the little bar area they set up on the Friday night for the international party and later went out to pubs with them. Staff were very helpful with tourist information and directions to airport.

Definitely choose J-Hoppers when you come to Osaka! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and they organize a lot of great events for their guests to mingle. The dorms and bathroom were clean, and the hostel's location was prime too. What can I say, I love J-Hoppers! :)

For the first moment on, I felt at home at Osaka J-Hoppers. Unfortunately, there was no elevator, but the stuff carried my luggage upstairs and downstairs. Next time in Osaka, definitely at Osaka J-Hoppers. :)

We had a major change in travel plans, and when we arrived at J-hoppers Osaka, one of their staff, Meg, was extremely helpful and understanding. She helped us with the necessary changes and adjusted our schedule, and we didn't even have trouble explaining to her the what/why/how/whens. The hostel's toilets are really clean, bath soap and shampoo provided. They also made the effort in compiling a couple of files on recommendations for sightseeing, food, as well as day trips, which helped alot!

I don't like the bath room. Which is without window, never threw fresh air unless keeping opening the door. Very hot during taking shower. But everything else is very good.

Great staff, conduct numerous activities to encourage guests to meet and enjoy Osaka. My only complaint would be the lack of an elevator, since I was staying on one of the top floors and the stairs were actually quite steep in places. Location is great, it's a short walk from the subway and still walking distance to JR Osaka station, going out you're still going to need to take a taxi but it won't be too expensive.
