Great little hostel, easy access to the train station and great directions too. The parties they have run by Mr Yano are great fun and a good way to go to some bars and restuarants you wouldnt otherwise go to. The double room was big and airy and close to the bathroom. Only con - walls were thin and the dorm next to us was a bit noisy! Great value for money. Thanks.

Stayed three nights, and although the hostel reminded me a bit of a college dormitory, it was a pleasant stay. Clean facilities, friendly and knowledgable staff, and a plethora of information in the lobby made up for any small aesthetic blemishes. Not to mention there is a beer vending machine in the lobby which added a nice touch to the hostel.

We had a great stay at this hostel, very nice clean rooms good value for money. We also had a great night out with Mr Yano when he took us to some of his favorite bars where we enjoyed food, beer, sake and lots of it!! Very close to the JR Line making it easy to travel around the city, a little far from the hype in Shinsaibashi but still relatively easy to get to none the less! I would recommend staying here for the friendly service and one in a lifetime Japanese experience Mr Yano has to offer.

The best place to stay in Osaka! There are awesome restaurants and bars in this street. Plus it is a 2 minute walk from the subway and 5 minute walk to Umeda downtown!

Best hostel staff we met during our whole Japan trip - very friendly and helpful, and every guest received chocolates on their door for valentines day. Located only two minutes from Fukushima station which made it easy to get around with a lot of luggage. The Hostel and our private twin room were very clean and we had a small kitchen and toilet on our floor. Bathrooms were well kept and spacious. 1 Free draft beer on Friday nights for the international party to meet other travelers. Recommended!

I was only there one night but it was a great place and the people I shared a room with were great! The little table and chairs, lockers and curtains around the bed were really good points about the room!

Great, everything you could want, at a good price. Directions might be mildly confusing, make sure to cross the railroad so as to be next to the Mr Doughnut, then follow the colorful road when it veers right.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, mostly due to the staff, who were willing to help out with any requests you had about sight seeing, foods, out even how to get places. We also took the free food tour (you pay for the food) that they offered, which was a lot of fun! You learn about the local foods, and eat them, with explanations from the guide. You even go to a samurai museum where you dress up in Japanese kimono! Would definitely stay here again.

it would be courteous if fellow travellers were a bit more respectful regarding the level of noise generated, especially after 10pm.i hate to say that the main perpetrators seem to be aussies.this is Japan and you are visitors. the staff are wonderful.thank you to all of you for your generosity warm regards, paul
