J-Hoppers Osaka Guesthouse Reviews

The room was enormous but lacked a comfortable feel that we found at J-Hoppers in Hiroshima and Hana Hostel in Kyoto. The staff were extremely helpful with allowing our luggage to be stored before check-in and after check-out. The bathrooms were great and there was always a spare shower....but the water only reached warm and the hostel was freezing once you got out of the shower! Thank you.

Very much enjoyed my stay, so much so I tried to stay for longer. Mr Yo No was wonderful company for some food and Karaoke and a credit to the hostel. If I am ever back I shall certainly stay there again and have already recommended to many travelers to stay there.

This was a very good place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it was handy for the station. We were also given a map of the local area, with places to eat, supermarkets, etc - very useful. The hostel itself had a small but good kitchen, so was good for self catering.

Very good location right next to Fukushima station on the Osaka Loop Line. Booked a single private room, suprisingly had 2 beds!!! lol. Only stayed 2 nights but it was a good experience.

It was a good place to stay, only issue was no elevator but thats ok.

Staff in J-hoppers are very nice, and there are a lot of restaurant around there, they all taste good. But somethings internet doesn't work or very slow.

Great location, Staff is very nice and helpful People staying there are also nice, which make you feel at home. Highly recommended!!

J-Hoppers Osaka is awesome. Great staff, fantastic location and a very communal atmosphere. It's always busy so try and book early, but it's well worth it. The events throughout the week are a great way to meet people from around the world. This was my first stop in Japan and I by far had the most fun here. This place is a must stay.

I had an overall positive experience during my stay.

What makes this hostel so great are the staff, they are amazing. Even before I arrived they were happy to assist me with ongoing travel plans. The reception staff are so kind and helpful. And, if you time your trip to be there on a Wednesday or Friday you'll have a great time heading out with Mr Yano and joining in for a few brews.

The staff were super friendly and very informative about city.

It was a bit of a pain having to down to level four from five for the bathroom. Also some of the guests were quite noisy when coming back at night.... Otherwise a great stay and love the parties etc that are organised!

Good location, clean rooms. Not enough showers.

All the shoes in the entrance made the lobby/kitchen area quite smelly. The odor was very noticeable. Staff was excellent. Very helpful in answering our questions about getting around Osaka.
