I loved it. But though everything is very clean, please keep in mind this is Melaka and not Singapore, so the hostels bathroom is convenient but located outside!

not clean, uncomfortable atmosphere, hospitable staff, perfect location! Fan in the room is not enough to cool down the temperature, that's why too hot in the room.

Jalan jalan is open, quiet, cozy, and quaint. Sam is super friendly, helpful, and laid back. The hostel is located directly parallel to Jonker St. and on the other side of the bridge from the historical sites, very close, but less traffic. Beds in the dorm are simple and perfect with a personal fan. You may hear music from the temple across the street once a night, but lasts for 30 seconds. Ended up staying double what I had intended!

Wonderful management. Sam is great and makes the place. Very interesting style, even if it seems a bit backwater. Could use some warm water for showers and better protection from mosquitoes though...

If you are used to toilets and showers in the garden, then it's the best place in Malacca. And the guy who runs the hostel is able to read your mind, i promise!
