Price is good and close to the beach. There are some noises from dogs and things at night, but not too bad. It's quiet otherwise. I extended my stay for another week.

It is very easy to find the hostel if you ask the police in the street. The staffs are friendly. If you like India culture, you can watch the movies with the boss and have conversation because the boss is an India. But the room has a little smell.

For us, the location was good.. right next to the beach in Jomtien (not worth a dime, btw) and right next to the street to jump on a songthaew to go to the Pattaya Beaches. We were on the first floor and were worried about security and noise but everything was quiet. However, one day we came to the "dining" area before 10am to find all the food was gone. We thought the guy helping at the desk was really nice, especially considering he was there all day, every day it seemed.

Of the hostels I have visited this has little information about sightseeing places and general information. And it bit far from main Pattaya city. However the rooms were clean and good

The place was really clean and well maintained. The caretaker was certainly helpful, for he waited till midnight for us to arrive. However I didnt feel the same warmth that I received from other Thai people. In short I think Jomtien Hostel is an excellent place with a great care taker, who probably could be a bit more friendly.

very clean, but the manager was not kind. Going without reservation was cheap, I don't understand.

I really enjoyed it. It's very basic and not in main Pattaya-so clubs are a bit away but I was there to learn to Dive and it was a good bed, clean, friendly place to stay near to restaurants and quiet bars! Very enjoyable!x

More like a hotel than hostel, not that there's anything wrong with that. Room was clean and nice. Jomtien however is not in Pattaya. No, that's not the hostel's fault, but for location wise it's not great if you're wanting a cheap place close to the city. It's gonna be between 100-400 baht to get to the city depending on time of night etc. Back to the hostel, though, don't expect a party, and though the owner(?) was really nice when we got there, he was miserable and rude when we checked out.

This hostel was clean, and the rooms spacious with good air conditioning. I even had an outside veranda space, which was unexpected. There was a computer that could be used for a small fee, tea and coffee facilities, the staff were friendly and helpful and the beds were comfortable and the linens clean. I thought it excellent value for money. My only reservation would be about the Jomtien / Pattaya area itself. The beach was not clean and the local restaurants were poor. Generally overdeveloped

I stayed here for 1 nite, come a bit late but surprisingly Joe (Hostel Staff) upgrade my room (Yay!) - got free welcome drink, place is clean, hostel staff is great, only 3 minutes walk to the Jomtien Beach From bus stop (from Suvarnabhumi) take TukTuk to Jomtien Beach, stop at Sarita Chalet and Spa, walk to Soi Chomtian 12 and the hostel is on your right side

If you've come to Pattaya for the beach then this is the place for you. Very accessible but not exposed, less than a minute walk and you are on the beach but the place is tucked away just enough so that you are not bombarded by the noise on the Main Beach Road. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.
