Second time here and again it was good. Value for money is excellent, especially if you book through the website deals. Their restaurant food was of okay quality but try to keep to their recommended dishes. Pizza's are quite good as well.

Clean beds and helpful staff, but the lack of water during the day is really annoying. If it was just the showers that were turned off it'd be OK, but it sucks not being able to wash your hands or brush your teeth whenever you need to.

The Hostel is located next to the Green Lake park and in walking distance to the market. The room was fairly modern and clean. We had stayed one night in the Kunming Cloudland Hostel, which was not clean at all - there was a rat in the double room; therefore we have look for another option for our overnight stay on return. And it was definitely the right choice!

Extremely good-value hostel. Their restaurant is top-notch with good and affordable food. Large lockers that fit your whole backpack were definitely a plus! Unfortunately the water was only on 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening. That really was unfortunate. But besides this small hindrance the place is located very nicely close to the lake, there are many ATM machines nearby and they organise and help you with all your travel needs throughout Yunnan.

I enjoyed my stay and thought it was a great value in a great location. I did notice that there wasn't an air conditioner in my private room and wondered how comfortable I would be at another time of year.

I really liked this hostel. The staff were very helpful and spoke very good English. They do not offer any tours, but were able to help with activities in the area. The common area is very nice. Sadly, they do have this issue right now with water shortages. But, it seems that it can't be helped at the moment.

This was a nice place to stay in Kunming and i would definitely consider staying again. I had a private single room and it was excellent- very clean, good shower, comfy bed and quiet. I managed to get an excellent night's sleep whilst I was there! One slightly disappointing thing was the WiFi signal in the room was poor or non-existant, it wasn't ideal for getting some work done or uploading photos etc. The staff were helpful and helped me to book tickets to Lijiang. They were very busy at times!

料金を多くとられそうになった。 タクシーをよんでくれ、と頼んだのだが断られた。 安いし、部屋はキレイだし、設備はいいが とにかくスタッフが最低。

Unfortunately I only could stay for 1 night as I needed to fly back. This atmosphere invites to stay longer and makes the hostel to travellers home.

At the time we stayed they were doing tiling in the courtyard so access outside was limited and dusty. The location is great and staff friendly. The size and comfort of the room was great however I thought the room needed a good clean.

This is a very nice hotel. The twin room we had was spacious and the bathroom was beautyful with a realy nice shower. Everything is clean. The only problem we had was that our room was situated next to the sportsfield of a High school. Every morning we woke up by screaming kids. The food is nice but the bar was realy cold! There was not heater so it was not realy nice to sit in the lounge.

Great hostel with reasonably priced, good food and coffee available on premises. It's not in the center of town but still within walking distance and, in my opinion, in a better location, close to the bohemian university area and nearby lake and temples etc. Great facilities and friendly staff... would definitely recommend as a place to stay in Kunming.

I had a private room on the first floor. Unfortunately, it was really near the stairs leading to the second floor which was not accessible by lift therefore I heard everyone clumping up and down the stairs at night and in the early morning. Also I was right next to a section of the corridor where there was a sink and a hair dryer for people using the dorm. This meant that I was woken up early in the morning by people drying their hair. I might as well have been in the dorm myself.

It i a very nice hostel with clean a spacious dorms. The bar area is also good. however they do not have a lot of toilets and showers and the was no water during the day time. They said it is a restriction aplicated for the whole citiy which is false because i stayed another noght in another hostel and they had water during all the day.

It's well located, within easy walking distance of a pleasant park and Wenlin Street, with lots of restaurants and bars. The staff are friendly and helpful, and can provide good information on how to get around the city or out to the further-flung sights. There's just one shower and proper (i.e. western) toilet on each floor, which could sometimes lead to a wait, especially with water restrictions in place.

Decent hostel in a good location near the lake. Plenty of outdoor areas to chill and helpful staff. The hairdryer though is located in the hallway, so every morning we were woken up whenever someone had to dry their hair, and then a second time when the loud cleaning staff started cleaning the rooms. Still, nothing ear plugs didn't fix!
