First thing to say about the hostel is that the staff are remarkably helpful, kind and thoughtful. The worst aspect, which is difficult to criticise the hostel directly for is the location. It is next to a nightclub, which had loud music every night, and the immediate surroundings do not feel entirely safe, being in the slightly rougher edge of town. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, mainly because the staff and owner were especially hospitable.

We visited LG Guesthouse 3 times (10 days totally). De staff was very helpful! They bought our train tickets to Beijing. Transported us to the train station (although the train station is very close to LG Guesthouse). Good laundry service. Location is a bit out of the center, but we enjoyed the 10 minute walk). Breakfast (bread, 1 piece of fruit and coffee or thee) was included! I recommend my friends to visit LG!

Double room was very good, like staying in a hotel! Location not the best one... Restaurant in the first floor was good value for money.

Great location for station. They had made the beds for us and gave us decent towels making it a nicer experience than most hostels. Good size dorm room. Not enough hot water for showers (although we did shower at 6am).

Before signing up for this hostel I read a lot of complaints about how far away from the city center it was. It's not that bad. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the State department store, and another 10 from there you're in the main square. The hostel was very clean, and very private as well. I stayed in the four person dorm where we had our own couch and mini fridge. The staff was nice and very helpful, despite slight confusion with my reservation. They also do your laudary for you!

Good location. Clean, large private room with ensuite bathroom. Very comfortable bed. TV in-room with multi-lingual programming including BBC World and US made-for-TV movie channel. Welcoming, friendly staff. Verdict: Excellent value for money.

Really nice hostel - modern, clean, helpful staff. To be fair it was more like a hotel. Would definitely stay there again. The staff were really helpful, picked us up and took us back to the train station which was really nice

Good hostel. Not completely central, but close to the train station. And Ulan Baator is not too big so you can easily walk in 10min into the center. Very nice service is the free pick up service from the train station.
