An excellent b&b. Tasty breakfast included in price- available from 6am so great before doing any trekking. Very helpful for organising tours, cruise del sur bus tickets, and general advice on the area. Can organise treks for you-they are on the upper end of the scale compared to what you can get in the town but you get what you pay for. Also laundry service available which is very useful after few days camping in mountains.

The owner of the hostel was very friendly and kind, and helped us to plan activities to do in Huaraz each day (she also offers to arrange various hiking tours for guests). She even hand-drew us a map to get to a day hike just outside of the city! The atmosphere of the b&b is relaxed and in a quiet area at the edge of the city, but a colectivo to the center is just 1 sol so the extra distance is worth it for the tranquility.

Gilf and his wife Maury are, without a doubt, the nicest people I met in Peru. Their hospitality is unparalleled for Peru and when I come back to Huaraz, I will be staying with them. The rooms and common areas are clean. Showers have plenty of hot water. The breakfast is made to order with several good options. Gilf is also a guide and can arrange all your trekking and climbing needs. I found it an easy and cheap collectivo or taxi ride from the Plaza and a quiet location.

Gilf and Maruja are really good at giving direction and recomendations in what to do and where to go according to what you want. They make you feel comfortable and at home going a little behond the customer/owner relationship. The water in the showers is hot and with pressure and the breakfast is good. The facilities are tiddy and clean. The only bad thing is that they've lost a t-shirt while cleaning it, but Maruja found a solution immediately. Besides this the stay was really good :)

Highly recommended! One of the nicest b&bs we've stayed in!

The owner and his wife make this place special. They go the extra mile to help you with your questions, hikes and plans. Rooms are decent, breakfast is very good and it is very convenient that they have a pc so that you can work on your next trips. Location is not the best (5-10min with taxi or micro to center) but this will only cost 1 soles (micro) or 4-5 soles (taxi).

This was a great hostel. It is a little outside of the town but taxis are cheap and frequent so getting into town is no issue. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They had great restaurant recommendations and even got up early to make customers breakfast before a tour. The only downside was that the hot water could be a bit intermittent. It was great when it worked.

Unbelieveable what you get offered from this lovely, sweet and especially super helpful Staff. Scrambled eggs with onion and tomatoes +marmalade +toasted bread +butter +tea +coffe +fresh pressed orange juice (yeah really really fresh) The rooms are perfect and tidy. Just the location outside of huaraz could be a small - .... But hey! What do youreally wanna doin Huaraz? ... Except catch your next bus! 100% recommended
