Hostel with a very good location, with brand new rooms and kitchen very big and with all facilities, even dishwasher. The only flaw, bathrooms a bit small but I could recommend anyone this hostel! Nice and helpful staff, good breakfast, amazing stay!!! :)

We were there for two nights. Firstable, the staff was so nice with us, they received us kindly. On the other hand, there is a good atmosphere in the hostel, it's really comfortable and the rooms are very clean. The shared bathrooms are good also, everything is clean. You can use the internet in the main reception and the shared kitchen is fully-equipped. I recommend it!

Hostel was very clean with excellent facilities and in a good location for Gdansks attractions. Staff were a mixed bag; the guy who greeted us was surly, unhelpful and rude. The lady who appeared later was friendlier and more helpful. There was no information on the attractions of Gdansk or what to do in the city. I have to assume they're not set up to cater for backpackers yet!

One small suggestion for the future: to fix the main door so it doesn't make such a loud noise when you let go of it and it shuts closed.

Super friendly staff, 24 hour reception, clean rooms and bathrooms - everything as promised. The hostel is rather new and therefore everything is in good shape. There is also a common room with TV and DVD. The included breakfast was also very good. The only thing I have to criticize is that we had to pay in cash at our arrival when we would have preferred credit card.

A very pleasant place to stay. Modern, extremely clean and close to the centre of things. If I was ever in Gdansk again i would stay here.

Great Hostel: it's very central to gdansk and it has a good view to the harbor. It has a big kitchen, in which you are allowed to prepare your food. Leftovers can be stored in the common fridge, which is also in the kitchen. The breakfast did not have much variety, but with cheese, salami, and ham, as well as, tomatoes and cucumber it offers enough for everyone. It is very new and especially clean (in 4 days the bathroom got cleaned twice). If I come back to gdansk, this would be my choice!

Very nice, clean and stylish hostel located just in the old town but in a peaceful street. Huge pillows and warm blankets and the breakfast was okay - bread and cereals. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only minus during our visit was rented towels, wihch were quite small.. :) We were staying in La Guitarra on february and there weren't a lot of other clients. When the hostel is full there might be lines to bathrooms and toilets. But anyway, we are absolutely recommending this hostel, it's great!

The hostel was just welcoming from the beginning, with a great common space, and super helpful/friendly staff. The breakfast was very good - included in the basic price. The room was nice, the beds are very nice (the linen white, clean and fresh). Perfect Location !

The hostel itself was very good - pretty central, good facilities, very clean. I'm afraid though it lacks character for me, and the main downside: you have to leave immediately after you check out! I went to buy some toothpaste + toothbrush at a local supermarket and went back to brush my teeth after checking out, and they basically told me in my face that I had to leave. I've never met such a unwelcoming hostel before. It might be in their policy, but it's very unfriendly nonetheless.

The reason I wouldn't go back tho the La Guitarra Hostel Gdansk is the unfriendly and cynical attitude of the hostel's owner upon my arrival (he refused to answer questions related to my future stay there, and asked me whether I was sure I want to keep the reservation I had booked). Not all the bathroom doors could be closed from the inside and although there were signs to keep toilet facilities clean, the soap was missing from half of them. The rest of staff was very helpful, food and music -ok
