The rooms are a little tiny, but then again they are former prison cells and well worth the novelty. Super clean, and the showers are great. It\'s a little walk from the metro and it is a little hard to find on the island (just follow the directions to the hotel). A little hard to meet other travellers here as well, but otherwise a great place to stay. Internet is free as well. The kitchen and dining is cosy and great to meet other people in, also they provide personal boxes in the fridge!!

Staying in a converted jail cell was pretty cool but seems kinda cold and lonely too. The kitchen was fine and i liked the personal boxes you get in the fridge. Not really a common room as such so it can be hard to meet people. The staff were helpful and the security is almost too much (but it did used to be a jail....). The island its located on is nice but about 10-15 mins walk from metro and supermarket.

If you stay here - I thoroughly recommend getting the breakfast! It's not free but it's cheap and they have everything you could think of under the sun. Be a camel - stock up on food at breakfast to last the whole day. That's my budget traveling advice...

A very special place to stay, we will come back for sure! Fantastic concept, many good ideas, 1st class realization. Our hostel cell was like a first class hotel room, we couldnīt find anything to complain. The island is a green paradise in the city and there is a fantastic cafe next to the hostel with heavenly sandwiches and cakes. Our only problem was that it was a bit hard to find from the metro, so if you are not sure, ask for help ASAP. Nice pics at http://www.langholmen.com/En/
