The breakfast was the winner. Kept me going all day! Prices add up once you pay for linen and towel. Overall I was pretty impressed and praise the cleaning staff! Coffee was expensive and the kitchen for guests was closed early...however I would recommend this place to my Aussie friends!!!!

I think it's an awesome idea to run a hostel in a former prison. The room was in a cell and everything, but the atmosphere was still rather average. I was disappointed about the receptionists / the check in - it could have been a regular check-in in any randon best western hotel in a random place. No "show" about the prison thing and so son - so the room / cell was just a very small hotel-room and nothing more. Clean, good facilities and easy to reach.

This is a fantastic hostel! Incredibly unique, clean and great value for money! The breakfast is really worth paying extra for...it was amazing! It's a bit of a walk from the main attractions, but not too bad and it's close to a metro station! Really loved my time here!

I was very happy with the accomodation. The hostel had a lot of character and the staff were very polite and helpful. Recommend to others

Having said that the rooms are claustrophobic and you should be very good friends with the others you stay with, we were all pleasantly surprised with this lovely place. It was cool, clean and nice. But after four nights it was actually very nice to leave this crammed compartment. It was however a prisoncell, and we are happy they didn't change it to make it bigger. It was a nice experience. Perfect location for sightseeing, not so much for partying in the evening as it was pretty far to walk.

After my first stay last summer I had the chance to come back in winter. I enjoyed it again and sometimes it's nice to get a singleroom for the dormitory rate ;-) Try the breakfast, it's worth the money! One word about the location: No problem with the distance to the City centre but a busstop on the bridge would be very nice for people with heavy luggage ;-)
