Great place! Great location, great breakfast (included in the price of the room), and good facilities. Wifi access was a bit frustrating to use (only in the main area and have to use a short term code), and the showers not amazing, but the staff recommended a really great restaurant to eat at in the area which was greatly appreciated.

STAY HERE! A bit on the expensive side, but hey! It's Paris, everything is expensive. Amazingly friendly polyglot staff. The guy from the breakfast buffet has to be the greates hostel employee in the world! Really liked it, loved the location, the rooms, breakfast and all. Will definitely come back! No lockers in the rooms is a minus... Get some lockers in the rooms! Loved you Montclair Hostel, I'll be right back.

As a couple we had booked a dorm room and got put in a 3 bed room with an older man....that was a bit weird. We changed to a private room which was much more comfortable. The free breakfast was good but I wouldn't try cooking in that kitchen. Without much of a comfy common room and the fact that you can't bring in your own alcohol there isn't much atmosphere. The wifi set up is terrible only works in the reception and lasts only 24 hours. On the bright side it's close to two metro lines.

Great hostel, very close to a metro stop and also to attractions in Montmartre. The staff were very friendly and helpful and assisted me with anything I needed. The hostel itself was clean and had a great common room/breakfast area. The only issue I had was with the bathrooms: the shower only stayed on for a minute at a time and the toilet was in a separate room without a sink. Other than that, great hostel!

The location was a plus since it's just a minute walk from the subway and a few minutes from Montmartre. The staff was helpful. I liked that there was a nice kitchen set up and the buffet breakfast was much appreciated.

Especially Leonardo from the front desk is a real sunshine, he helps you in any wav he can if you have problems or questions. The hostel was nice in general and i met awesome people, only the shower was cold sometimes. For Paris I think the price was ok, too.

Cool place, nice staff, well located. Bad showers - water system does not keep hot water enough for all travelers.

It is a good hotel for the price that you pay. The location is really convenient. Good for sleeping and hanging outside.

It was decent for the price. However, the showers did not have hot water any time I used them and there was no heat in my room (and it was freezing at night). Everything else was rather average. They have free Wifi, but make you pay to use the internet on their public computers (which was exceedingly annoying when my laptop charger stopped working). Overall, quite average.

I stayed in 2 different rooms. The 6 bed dorm was nicer than the 8 bed dorm. I liked that there was not a bathroom in the 6 bed dorm. The breakfast was ok. The internet in the lobby is very slow and you dont get wifi in the rooms, but that didn't really worry me. Its close to Sacre Ceour and its a nice area. Because it was Easter, I had to stay at 3 different places. The best hostel I found was Oops. Then this one. And finally St. Christopher's.

The only problems for me were: poor internet that only works at the reception are and the lack of power plugs on the room's walls. Montmartre is a bit far from the main tourist attraction but is a very special traditional neighbourhood and great place to stay.

The hostel was easy to find and right near a metro stop which is about the best thing I can say about it. I had roommates who smoked in the room and the staff were ambivalent about it when I talked to them. There was no hot water at any point during my stay. There are only a few very small lockers in the lobby so it's a race to get one in this fairly large hostel. Wifi really only works in the lobby. Three computers are provided but you have to pay to use them. This wasn't worth the money.

Everything was good.. Staff, behaviour of all, facilities etc. One should consider this option first before thinking about other options.
