I stayed in the hostel for one night. Overall it was a good experience, the hostel is located close to Montmartre and within easy access by underground to all main Paris attractions. The staff at the hostel was helpful. Would stay again.

The atmosphere was super and open, but when we arrived the staff was on the phone for 30 minutes while we had to catch a train. In our room on the 4th floor, when your moved the curtains there where all mould / molding stains on the wall. The good thing was that we had a shower on our room when we booked for a shared shower, but it took 25 minutes for the shower to get warm! It's a good place for backpackers I guess but for the priced I payed I expected a bit more.

Staff was nice but sometimes very inefficient (blonde female). Included breakfast was great as was kitchen staff. Metro lines were about 5 min walk and the Sacré Coeur was a 15 minute walk (up some serious stairs). No real nightlife nearby but lots of nice cafes and restaurants. Paris is expensive, this place is a good deal.

The hostel is clean & local: BUT the Internet didn't really working. In the evening you don't have a chance to use the www. What a bummer! Because I had looking for an hostel WITH Internet Access but I did't get it. -.-

There are not bathroom for every floor. I don't like to walk up and down the stairs just to take a shower. and there is no elevator. I stayed on the 4th floor and my bag is really heavy. But the rest are ok. Location and atmosphere is good.

Location: Actually, I lost my way to hostel from nearest station. Because rue Ramey doesn't appear on my city map, and I mistook rue Marcadet for rue Ramey...

The Hostel was nice, some of the staff were very unhelpful and did not seem to interested in helping at times. i know the conduct of the other guests is out of the controle of the hostel itself. but there were two people on my room,( a couple from england) who engage in a wide variety of sexual acts any time they were in the room together regardless of if there were other people present or not. they also smoked out the window of the room , so there was often a smell of smoke in the room.

We had a nice 3 nights stay in this hostel, in a double room with a bathroom. The room was nicely clean, the water was very nice. The hostel is well located and easy to find, very close to a busstop and a metro station. The only complain we have was the girl that welcomed us when we arrived, if it was that she was too busy or something, but she was not very friendly and informative.

The hostel is OK, ideal if you are just looking for a place to sleep. It was hard to find a more affordable option in Paris. It is located near Sacre Coeur, but far away from the main attractions (if you don't want to spend money on the Metro). The shared areas are a bit crowded. WiFi only works in the lobby (shared areas) and is very (very) slow. Breakfast was good and abundant (although, no coffee). There are lockers to keep only important things located in the lobby and they are tiny.

shower went from very cold to very hot and you had to keep pressing the button to keep it on. rooms were big and clean, it was a little cold with just a sheet and a blanket though. in a safe area and close to a metro station though you had to connect to most trains and it was far from central paris.

It was cozy and comfortable. nice staff and good security (locker room in front of staff's eye) It was located in good place to find easy. 3 minutes from jules joffrin and many buses to central paris. near Mont Martre with bus. but if you put a value 'cleaness' as a first priority, I barely recommend you this hostel.

Apart from a few malfunctions, everything was in order, relatively clean. Having a private bathroom, the level of cleanliness was also decent, however, shared facilities do not enjoy the same standard. As for the atmosphere, I found it great, the lobby and the living spaces were very cozy and comfortable, with cool music, and all things one might need. The staff was also very chatty, professional and of service when needed. Wi-fi is an issue, however: poor signal, and complicated access.
