Normal place to stay, but definitely not worth the money, you have to pay for it. Internet works normally only at the reception.

It was decent for the price. However, the showers did not have hot water any time I used them and there was no heat in my room (and it was freezing at night). Everything else was rather average. They have free Wifi, but make you pay to use the internet on their public computers (which was exceedingly annoying when my laptop charger stopped working). Overall, quite average.

The only problems for me were: poor internet that only works at the reception are and the lack of power plugs on the room's walls. Montmartre is a bit far from the main tourist attraction but is a very special traditional neighbourhood and great place to stay.

I stayed in 2 different rooms. The 6 bed dorm was nicer than the 8 bed dorm. I liked that there was not a bathroom in the 6 bed dorm. The breakfast was ok. The internet in the lobby is very slow and you dont get wifi in the rooms, but that didn't really worry me. Its close to Sacre Ceour and its a nice area. Because it was Easter, I had to stay at 3 different places. The best hostel I found was Oops. Then this one. And finally St. Christopher's.

The hostel was easy to find and right near a metro stop which is about the best thing I can say about it. I had roommates who smoked in the room and the staff were ambivalent about it when I talked to them. There was no hot water at any point during my stay. There are only a few very small lockers in the lobby so it's a race to get one in this fairly large hostel. Wifi really only works in the lobby. Three computers are provided but you have to pay to use them. This wasn't worth the money.

I stayed in the hostel for one night. Overall it was a good experience, the hostel is located close to Montmartre and within easy access by underground to all main Paris attractions. The staff at the hostel was helpful. Would stay again.

Everything was good.. Staff, behaviour of all, facilities etc. One should consider this option first before thinking about other options.

The atmosphere was super and open, but when we arrived the staff was on the phone for 30 minutes while we had to catch a train. In our room on the 4th floor, when your moved the curtains there where all mould / molding stains on the wall. The good thing was that we had a shower on our room when we booked for a shared shower, but it took 25 minutes for the shower to get warm! It's a good place for backpackers I guess but for the priced I payed I expected a bit more.

Staff was nice but sometimes very inefficient (blonde female). Included breakfast was great as was kitchen staff. Metro lines were about 5 min walk and the Sacré Coeur was a 15 minute walk (up some serious stairs). No real nightlife nearby but lots of nice cafes and restaurants. Paris is expensive, this place is a good deal.

The hostel is clean & local: BUT the Internet didn't really working. In the evening you don't have a chance to use the www. What a bummer! Because I had looking for an hostel WITH Internet Access but I did't get it. -.-

There are not bathroom for every floor. I don't like to walk up and down the stairs just to take a shower. and there is no elevator. I stayed on the 4th floor and my bag is really heavy. But the rest are ok. Location and atmosphere is good.

Location: Actually, I lost my way to hostel from nearest station. Because rue Ramey doesn't appear on my city map, and I mistook rue Marcadet for rue Ramey...

The Hostel was nice, some of the staff were very unhelpful and did not seem to interested in helping at times. i know the conduct of the other guests is out of the controle of the hostel itself. but there were two people on my room,( a couple from england) who engage in a wide variety of sexual acts any time they were in the room together regardless of if there were other people present or not. they also smoked out the window of the room , so there was often a smell of smoke in the room.
