Good and quiet location, 5 min walk to the park with cafes and a bakery, 15min walk to city center. The room was nice, clean and with free internet access (LAN). Friendly and helpful staff. Late night pick up service from the airport (30 RMB). We would stay again there.

This is not a youth "hostel", but a youth "hotel", thus the average ratings on Character and fun. It is clean, secure and inexpensive. A great place to stay, but the staff does not speak English very well (I don't mind this, as this is China, after all).

Comfortable modern rooms with (we noticed) very fast LAN connections. As it's a hotel there isn't the atmosphere of other hostels, but the staff are friendly and will happily persevere past the language barrier if you have a problem. Within walking distance of good restaurants and nightlife in Kunming. Prepare your chinese directions as the taxi drivers won't know the small road it's on, only the nearby main ones.

I will probably stay here again. It was clean and comfortable. I heard other visitors slamming the main door, but only when it was time to get going anyways. More private than social atmosphere (hence the 'hotel'). The front desk may not speak much English but they try to help. Their phone number links you up to (the owner?) a man who speaks English very well. Overall, pretty sweet.   Read Owner Comments

Very nice rooms. If you don't mind to just have a nice accommodation and nothing more, it's the perfect place to stay. If you'd like to meet other people or want some help from the staff, this is not the place to stay.

The place was great, everything brand new, hot water DVD etc, quiet, and helpfull staff. Also in a good location, not far from the city centre, near the lake and good bars and restaurants. I wish I couldve stayed there more than one night!   Read Owner Comments

Very clean rooms.. great shower. Staff speaks poor or no english. No wifi but in the lobby you can plugin your notebook. There\'s a nice park near the hotel.
