Great hostel. The staff are friendly and accommodating, they make you feel at home from the minute you arrive in Tenerife. Free wifi and breakfast, really clean and close to the beach. Perfect place for meeting new people, everyone hung out in the common area and socialized. Would recommend hiring a car to get around. Definitely recommend staying at Los Amigos!!

I have been around the world and stayed in a lot of places, and can honestly say ghat this is the best hostel that I have been to by far. There are lots of great staff and customers too who really make the place like a big home and although this is not a perfect place for nightlife the activities and excursions on offer are superb. I cant wait to go back!

The owners and staff were so warm and welcoming, it felt like I was staying at a friends house. They often had get togethers and opportunities for everyone to go out together. Everything was clean, comfortable, and breakfast was included! The beach was a 2 minute walk away and it was a gorgeous beach! It was everything I wanted out of Tenerife and away from the annoying tourist packed areas. Although, you could easily get to those areas by bus if you wanted.

One of the greatest places where I have ever stayed...the staff is incredible! So helpful, so friendly... Los Amigos makes you feel like home...Loved it!

A really good hostel, not so far from the airport (10min), with a good atmosphere! There is also a beautiful setting, we've liked it. And the staff is really nice!! =)

Everything a backpacker could ask for and more. apart from the location one of the best hostels I've seen.

Breakfast was satisfying There are milk bread corn flakes and marmalade in breakfast. You can eat how much you want. I think best hostel in Tenerife.I love this hostel, the staff is very warm and they make you feel welcomed .Was a great place to stay close to the sea it is good in all options just the place it is a little be isolated but the rest of that excellent...... This is absolutely not in a good location as specified. It should not be on hostel world. Creepy staff. All on drugs, we couldn't even stay the night. NOT FOR STUDY ABROAD STUDENTS.

The hostel is just perfect but there is only one drawback - it is located in a remote village that is not that easy to reach by public transport. You need a car to feel comfortably and this where the business model of the hostel does not much the traditional idea of a hostel that is targeting at backpackers, normally situated within a walking distance from the city centre of a transport hub. Apart from that the hostel is a very good value for money. Very social place, the staff is extremely nice

I've stayed in many hostels around the world, and this is one of the best.

It was a little bit uncomfortable to sleep within a tent. I arrived at 1am and had to pump to sleep on a plastic bed.

We spent an amazing time in this friendly environment. It still stays a strong memory from Tenerife. We met amazing people and the staff is friendly and really helpful, being like our friends that we already knew them before. We suggest all young people from whole over the world to go there.

I like the hostel and the staff. It felt like sleeping by friends in their home. Very good atmosphere and help. I will definetly come to visit you again (on 3/24/13 ;-))

Except the mattress (#4 in 10 bed room), which should be substituted, everything was good! Nice terrace, nice stuff, quite nice location, if you have a car (what you should, unless you're just there for surfing). I would come again!

This is the second time I have stayed at Los Amigos. It always has a great atmosphere and is always clean, tidy and the staff are polite and friendly. It is close to some great beaches and a short walk to the nearest small town.I have met some awesome people whilst at Los Amigos and the owner is a naturally friendly person who always does the best for you, and has even made some improvements since I was there in November. I would highly recommend this hostel for a stay if ever in Tenerife.

I liked the atmosphere there a lot. Nice people,nice location,all in all very clean and nicely furnished. Especially the terrace with the little pool is a blast. Staff was mostly very nice,however not all of them motivated. May be because they all seem to be volunteers. Some of the volunteers did a very good job, so for example the Polish girl Mariana, who was very friendly and helpful to all guests. So, at least my impression. What is a slight minus is that it is a little far off (not central).

Great helpful staff. Relaxing and social atmosphere. Good free breakfast and you can buy cheap dinner the staff make. The location is very uncentral, but there's a good supermarket 1 km away and the bus stop is close as well as the beach. It's clean and a bit noisy, and the showers can be a little cold.

I really enjoyed my stay in this nice hostel. Friendly staff and good place to meet new people. Very recommendable!
