Los Amigos Nest Hostel

Los Amigos Nest Hostel is the perfect place to meet people from all over the world.

We are located in La Mareta, a small area in the south of Tenerife, just 200 meters from the beach and 10 minutes by car from the airport.

We offer shared and private rooms, a swimming pool, gym, good WiFi connection, a fully equipped kitchen, and outdoor chill-out areas.

We are close to a small seaside village with supermarkets and restaurants, about a 20-minute walk away. There are also beautiful natural pools nearby, surf beaches, and many other lovely places to visit in the area.

Important Information

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations and refunds can be requested up to 48 hours before the day of check-in. In case of late cancellation or no-show, no refund will be issued and the full reservation amount will be charged at the time of booking. Refunds typically take between 3 and 7 business days from the date of issue to reach the cardholder’s account (excluding weekends and holidays). Please note that some issuing banks may take up to 30 days to process the refund.

We operate with an ONLINE SELF CHECK-IN system, which allows guests to access all necessary check-in information and provides flexibility for late arrivals. On the morning of the arrival day, guests will receive an email with a link to complete the self check-in process. It is simple and easy, but we require some mandatory information in compliance with Royal Decree 933/2021 on Travelers Registration.

Payment:
The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the card used for the reservation 2 days prior to arrival.
Taxes are included.

Check-in Information:

Check-in time is from 14:00 (2:00 PM). If guests arrive earlier, they are welcome to relax in the common areas until their room or bed is ready.

Reception opening hours are from 13:00 to 21:00 for in-person check-in and a full hostel tour.

For night arrivals, guests must call or write to inform us of their arrival time.

Please note that we have two cats in the hostel.

Staff is smoking weed in the garden - making public areas smell like a dxxg hub. Every morning I woke up with big red spots on my body. I first thought it was mosquito bites, but no, clearly bugs or insects. Many staff members are live-in workers and will act as residents; eg using the entire kitchen for their group when cooking and spending loads of time in the showers, leaving paying guests to wait. Dirty dishes left overnight, sometimes reception left unattend so they could play in the pool

This hostel was ok for one night. I didn’t get much sleep at all due to being right by the door and could hear everyone outside and in the room next to me, automatic outside light on and off constantly. The light by my bed did not work. You need your own padlock for the lockers. The bedroom didn’t feel very clean and bed linen very worn. Bathrooms ok. It rained and leaked into the room (safari). I was supposed to stay here another night but found something else to ensure I get some sleep!

Had a great stay at this hostel. But unfortunately we went during a very rainy weekend and lots of rain leaked into our Safari tent. So keep an eye out on the weather!! Other than that this hostel had lots of activities offered and the people that stayed with us were very friendly! Keep in mind the location is ideal if you want to stay by the airport, but it’s a bit out of the way from other sites on the island. But this hostel is worth the money.
