the place was nice. the staff wasn't that friendly though, when we tried to book a ferry to the islands. location not so great as it is in the middle of the town, but sadly, not really much to do around there.

Great place to stay and helpful staff. Except I think we were dooped into taking an overly expensive taxi. Won't tell you how much we paid cause its embarrassing.

4th floor with no lift, no air con, cleaners came to change to beds - took the sheet and pillowcase and left the blanket for the next person.... Ewww how many people have used it?!! Staff were not very helpful. I was ill when I arrived and asked if I could have an hand with my bag as there was no lift and was told the exercise would do me good... Yeah thanks mate - no plug sockets by the bed and the door didn't lock - WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE AGAIN!

Very nice guest house as the staff is very friendly and everything is very clean. We had a small room with 3 beds and a fan (kind of a "Japanese style" room). The room was great because it was very well organized regarding the small size (and price) ... very clever design! The best thing was the bathroom which was very clean (not always the case in Thailand) and had a good shower (which is very rare in cheap guest houses in Thailand). Absolute recommendation!

The room I was in was incredibly stuffy and hot even at night with the balcony door open and 2 fans on.
