Great hostel, very expensive for oktoberfest though. They charged my credit card the full amount in advance and it was unclear when they would make the charge, it just seemed a random number of days before my stay. It was very inconvenient for me being charged at that time and caused many major problems.
Excellent proximity to Oktoberfest so very good location for htat. Prices were ludicriciously inflated for oktoberfest, particularly for the Opening night (200 euro), however, i think all hostels significantly raised prices during this period. Tried to charge me 150 euro for opening a fire door. Although this was my fault, i think a 150 euro charge is a little high but the manager did agree to 50 euro in the end (albeit after a a suggestion i had caused 'damage' and police were to be called)
This hostel was fine. It was clean and had all the necessary things but it was huge. There were probably about 250 people staying, lots of school group etc. so there was no feeling of community. There wasn't really a lounge either.
Nice and clean, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Good kitchen. Location isn't perfect but if you are up for it you can walk to the city centre.
Awesome. the best hostel of my trip. besides the fact it is very Close to the Center of the City with a quick 2 stop Train ride, the hostel had cool People and a welcoming and helpful staff. The staff also knew how to get to the Alliany Arena to see my Bayern München game.
Had a great stay here, loved the downstairs for sitting and wifi use. Also could buy coffee. If you catch the tram (number 19) from the front of hauptbahnhof for 3/4 stops it takes you very close to the hostel. You can also catch a tram to close to hofbrauhaus. Ask reception for details we had no issues. €5.60 or something for up to 4 people for a day ticket
This is a really good Hostel (more like hotel) Everything was excellent, its big so didn't have a cosy family feel like other places but for the size they really didn't cut back like a lot of others. I would highly recommend and I will always look to stay in this hostel chain in the future!
The staffs looked so tired, could not felt any sense of kindness. So I called the manger who was more like a robot, treated me so cold and soulless. The worst experience in my round the world trip.
The worst hostel of my trip, really. Very bad staff at the reception. Rooms are not clean at all, drain were block in the shower, very discusting when you wash yourself in 2 inch dirty water. No locker in the room. Soo long elevator and so small that I always had to climb by myself the 4th floor. Bad location, far of the train station and of the city center. And not in a ssfe part of the city. No atmosphere at all at the hostel, no kitchen, anf finally, very expensive breakfast.
It was a great stay! The location was a little farther than we were expecting which was a unfortunate but overall we had a great time at the bar downstairs with 1 euro shots! Woo! They were extremely helpful with all of our questions and inquiries! Very clean and comfy! Would definitely stay again!
Came back from a night out to find a german girl in my bed, staff said they thought it was an empty bed so i had to move next door. Then next morning housekeeping were rude and ignorant. Wouldn't stay there again.
Was one of the best hostels we have stayed in. Only things are parking on site isn't free not a problem just doesn't state this until you get there and our cleaner only cleaned half the room but again don't normally have one lol. Overall great place to stay am going back soon as still loads to do in that city :)

It wasn't as close to the HBF as I first expected.. Unfortunately I was in a room right by the road on the second floor. I did not get a good nights sleep as not all the windows could close and due to cars driving past all night the noise level was unbelievable! I have worn ear plugs all through my stay in Europe and this was the first time I had trouble sleeping. :( it's not necessarily the hostels fault of course but I wouldn't be staying here again.
best hostel chain ever! i will never stay in another hostel if i cant help it!
Positives: Very secure (electronic door keys like a good hotel); large lockers in the room too; very clean; Augustiner Beer House is across the road (lovely beers); decent kitchen; good wifi; so-so bar beside the common-area. Negatives: Feels like a long walk from city-centre; common area is too big & so harder to socalise within. Other:
The internet connection sucks, you have to start the session every minute. The breakfast is great, but pretty expensive. The rooms are big and the whole place is wonderful. I really like the fact of a shared kitchen.
Very clean and comfortable place however slightly inconvenient location and lacks atmosphere. Difficult to meet people if you are travelling alone!
best hostel yet! clean and alway live with something fun. definitely a party place so families be warned.
big chain- always alright to stay it. not the best atmosphere but its a good location and pretty cheap. have to put in the wifi username and password like a million times though, but there is free wifi.
