The place it's great, the location it's amazing right in the city center, you can go to most of the truistic places by foot because everything is close by, there are also a couple of supermarkets near if you need to buy anything for a good price. The staff was very very helpful with anything we needed and never had any problem whatsoever. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of cutlery, it also had a good dinning area, the are with the tv was very nice, with free computer usage.

I stayed in a private room at Maverick, and it was perfect. The room size, cleanliness, bathroom, all was very satisfactory for the price. From the street you can be a bit disappointed, but do not influence your opinion on that. Yes, they should have a better indication of the hostel on the street, because if you are inattentive, maybe you can pass by the gate. Just one night I have late shower, need to wait half hour for the hot water, maybe small boiler.

Best hostel ever! So clean and nice, with beautiful views and large rooms. The location is amazing, right in the heart of Budapest. The kitchen was really good, well stocked and clean. Most of the staff were very nice, and some were just lovely :) I would definitely stay here again!

I chose this hostel with the review and it was fantastically comfortable. The location was good to move around the city, very near the end of the city and the start point of the highlight spots of the ancient Buda and some famous tourist attractions. I gave it "good" because it was little hard to find the place at first time with no signs nearby. But everything except that was fantastic. I like the interior of the building and the service was good as well. Most of all, I could use computer free.

Very nice hostel seemed more like a hotel though in some ways. Not easy to make friends as a solo traveler but it was very nice and would come back but with friends.

Perfect hostel!! Located in a very centre area and a few meter from metro station. Staff are very friendly and accomodated us kindly and warmly at 10p.m when we arrived. Share bathrooms are pretty clean and have everything needed to fresh up after a long day. Has a luggage storage and amazingly, they don't charge us any single buck :D

Before going to Maverick I read the previous reviews and thought it can't be that good. However the truth is that the staff couldn't be nicer :) Considering the location of the hostel (inside of a beautiful historical building) I understand that no big neon signs come to question to quide people in. I would only advise anyone who is going there look for the pictures of the buildung - that way I had no problems whatsoever to find the place!

The hostel itself was really amazing, except i had bunches of unwanted roommates in 3 nights I stayed there and the bad weather in Budapest. Anyway, good location, like only one min outside the metro with bread shop, supermarket and some local restaurants. Their direction got me confused how to go from the airport. Plus, I didn't know that Hungary doesn't use Euro and it got me pissed off to go back and forth for money exchange and routing. They should have noticed travellers!!!

The hostel was quite crowded but to be fair it was New Years weekend. It was a little hard to use the bathrooms in the morning but that's the only thing that was not ideal. Everything was very clean and the little odds and ends in cupboard are nice if you want to cook. The staff is great. I would definitely stay here again.

It's located besides a Metro st in old town, just steps from main shopping str and National Museum! More impressed is the building or architecture seems like used to be owned by middle bourgeoisie interlectual class. Room is >4m high n large with single beds and book shelves! Very clean n tidy but also warm n relaxed like home like living in a old fashioned but modern-trimmed Hungarian bourgeoisie apt. Roomies r diverse n friendly. Staff r very nice. Breakfest not incl but various free tea n cof
