Very good hostel with a great location near the metro. Decor is fun and staff are more than willing to help out with info on where to go and what to see.

Maverick hostel and staff were extremely accomodating and helpful during our stay in Budapest. The staff was quick to respond to all queries we had prior to and during our stay. The building itself was really unique and located in the center of the city. One of the nights we were there they organized a social event including free drinks in the lobby. The staff directed us to many fantastic options for sight seeing and experiencing what Budapest has to offer. We had an amazing experience.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The special evenings for guests were great and made us feel very welcome and was great to socialise with others. The rooms, beds and bathrooms are all great and very comfortable. Everyone there was really friendly and chatty, so I really enjoyed my stay here! A bit of a shame that some of our food was stolen from the fridge, even when it had been clearly marked with our names and the date of our departure, but that wasn't a big deal as it wasn't much.

Security and location are practically unbeatable! It's right in the center of everything, and you don't need public transportation if you bring a sturdy pair of walking shoes. The staff were super helpful with figuring out how to get from place to place. My only gripes: the atmosphere was kinda lacking, and that could've been because it was the low season, but everyone kept to themselves. Also, they do too good of a job cleaning out the fridge: my food kept disappearing.

Beautiful hostel with really nice staff. Good bathroom in the private rooms, and the height of the room makes it look big even if it isn't. thank you !

Great atmosphere in the hostel! Very cool common area with a guitar, very friendly staff members and very well located. Free wine and palinka tasting on some days of the week was very nice.

Beautifull building, perfect central location nevertheless quite place to stay. Clean. Probably the best hostel in Budapest.

Maverick is at a very central place; the personnel was very helpful; the building is wonderful and the rooms are very clean. I'd definitely stay there again.

We absolutely loved this hostel, it was one of the best hostels we have stayed at. The rooms were very clean, the guys at the reception were great, great fun, always very helpful and very welcoming. The location of the hostel is perfect, right outside a Metro. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone and would stay there again!

The Maverick hostel seems to be the best place to be at. It is close to practically everything: 20 meters to the subway, which works fantastically, and 100 meters to the river. The building has a beautiful courtyard and the hostel itself is clean and cozy. The only complaint is that after requesting for our room to be cleaned, they only made our beds, but didn't change the linen or the towels. Otherwise everything was superb, including to complementary tea and coffee in the kitchen.

The best hostel I stayed at on my trip, staff was great, hot water was a little in short supply in the private rooms, overall highly recommend

One of the best hostels I have stayed in. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms were clean and the showers hot. Overall, a great place to stay!
