AVAIL Hostel offers clean, comfortable and cheap accomodation for everybody who wants to discover Budapest, this charming and interesting city.

All our rooms are nicely furnished, ideal for couples or friends travelling together. All the rooms have access to the well equipped guest kitchen, and free internet. Our English speaking staff will do their best to make sure your stay at our Hostel is going to be a pleasant and memorable one.

We will provide you with all the information you might need to see everything in our city, either if you want to visit the historical sites, experience our cultural events or want to party in a great club, we will help you find the right place.

We are located in the heart of the city center - in the old Jewish district – that happens to be the entertainment zone of Budapest. Kazinczy street is the main street of the party-zone of Budapest. It is like the SOHO of London, only much better and much-much cheaper. The world-famous ’Ruin Pub: Szimpla 'is only 30 metres away. There is a Karaoke Bar in our building so bringing a pair of ear plugs - if you don’t want to go out and enjoy the fun – would be highly advised.

Although we are not a party hostel, you are but one step away from the best party places in town.

The location couldn’t be any better whether you want to visit the ’most beautiful Café House in the World', the historic sites, the museums or find the best restaurants and street-food places or relax at the Spas and at the end of the day you want to take advantage of the many Ruin Pubs and party places that are abundant in the Old Jewish district.

The Opera House, the river Danube, the National Museum, the St Stephan Cathedral, the meeting point for the free guided walking tours, the New York Café, the famous shopping street (Váci utca), Andrássy Avenue the so-called: Champs-Élysées of Budapest, the Central Information for Tourism, many of the best bars and most of the ruin pubs are within 5-8 mins walk away from us.

Avail was unlike any other hostel I’ve experienced. The rooms were spacious and cool, brilliant in the heat. The facilities were perfect, especially the shower pressure. Location couldn’t have been better, right next to many great food options and the epic Szimpla Ruin Bar. And the lovely host Sándor was the highlight of this visit. His passion for Budapest made our short visit memorable, and he inspired us to return. He gives all of his guests his time to ensure they get the best of Budapest

Sandor is an excellent host and very passionate about Budapest. The room was acceptable and what you would expect. Only small complaint is that the pillows aren’t very good. The bathrooms and showers are excellent, but the location is the best part about this hostel. Noise wasn’t a problem for us and if you are a partier and young there is probably no better value choice in Budapest.

Hostel cleanliness was great , spacious and although on the strip there was no noise from there which was great! But to the side of our room there was a karaoke bar which was loud of a night. The host was very friendly and knowledgable, however on arrival we were given an hour speech on Budapest attractions, which although some may have found useful was not ideal after travelling, being tired and it being 10pm Would recommend to travellers looking for a party spot and getting to know the area!
