AVAIL Hostel offers clean, comfortable and cheap accomodation for everybody who wants to discover Budapest, this charming and interesting city.
All our rooms are nicely furnished, ideal for couples or friends travelling together. All the rooms have access to the well equipped guest kitchen, and free internet. Our English speaking staff will do their best to make sure your stay at our Hostel is going to be a pleasant and memorable one.
We will provide you with all the information you might need to see everything in our city, either if you want to visit the historical sites, experience our cultural events or want to party in a great club, we will help you find the right place.
We are located in the heart of the city center - in the old Jewish district – that happens to be the entertainment zone of Budapest. Kazinczy street is the main street of the party-zone of Budapest. It is like the SOHO of London, only much better and much-much cheaper. The world-famous ’Ruin Pub: Szimpla 'is only 30 metres away. There is a Karaoke Bar in our building so bringing a pair of ear plugs - if you don’t want to go out and enjoy the fun – would be highly advised.
Although we are not a party hostel, you are but one step away from the best party places in town.
The location couldn’t be any better whether you want to visit the ’most beautiful Café House in the World', the historic sites, the museums or find the best restaurants and street-food places or relax at the Spas and at the end of the day you want to take advantage of the many Ruin Pubs and party places that are abundant in the Old Jewish district.
The Opera House, the river Danube, the National Museum, the St Stephan Cathedral, the meeting point for the free guided walking tours, the New York Café, the famous shopping street (Váci utca), Andrássy Avenue the so-called: Champs-Élysées of Budapest, the Central Information for Tourism, many of the best bars and most of the ruin pubs are within 5-8 mins walk away from us.
