Really good location, private room meant we were separate from the hostel and instead in an apartment next door but this meant easy access to the room through the block and an en-suite. Room was cleaned every day which I didn't expect at all, nice surprise! Would stay here again.

The location is very good and the staff are friendly. If you are in Barcelona to visit and you want just a place to sleep this is perfect. This is a hostel, so the conditions are good for a hostel.

Someone recommended this hostel to me, and even though it was evident there were lots of people around, I had no idea where they were, it was like a ghost town almost. They have a terrace that closes at the absurd time of 7pm. Showers were cold - I had to wake up early to catch a bus yet the showers were still cold so it wasn't a "too many people using the facilities" thing. It's a nice hostel otherwise.

The morning staff was rude and impatient. There was a guy at night with dreads who was very kind and Martin was very kind and patient. The wifi connection is horrible. The day I arrived the credit card machine broke and they were angry that I did not have cash to pay. I told them I would pay the next day but while I was out, the machine started working and they ran the card that I booked online with and not the card I have given the night before, over drafting my account. I am NOT pleased!

Owner Comment (Show)
Dear Shannon, We are so sorry if you felt all you said. Our staff (if you check the reviews) is always very kind with everyone. We know that you were stolen before you arrive here and just that night the internet (the card machine is connected to it) brokedown for 8 hours (in all the block of buildings). It's very bad luck! The machine charged you when internet worked again but we informed you that was cancelled the same day. Sorry again girls, this is not our mediterranean spirit! Oscar Pereira Manager

Love this hostel! Noise from other rooms could have been a problem at night but everyone was so respectful. Great location and literally everything you need available.

For young people the double room was too expensive (58€/night) and not so clean. FOr old people maybe the atmosphere is too young. The position is perfect for turist and the staff is nice.

This was a good hostel, except that there is absolutely no volume regulation... I stayed there two nights, on my second night a group of drunk hooligans kept running up and down the stairs, yelling and shouting and laughing. This started at 2am and went on till about 3:30. The staff didn't do anything, not even a "Hey, people are trying to sleep you know, quiet down". Anyways, good location, nearby to grocery stores and stuff, but the kitchen doesn't have an oven.

I know the hostel can't control much on this aspect but still i wish to say that, during our stay, some of our food (ham) and drink (3 bottles of beer) had been stolen. The girls next to our room (101) always created a lot of noise whenever they came in and out, as if, they owned the whole floor. Again, i am not sure if the hostel can control this kind of situation. But some of the nights, the drunkard guys at the dining area had made so much noise that in our room we could hear it!

EXTREMELY nice hostel environment. The rooms were all very clean and functional. The location next to the subway station could not have been more convenient. The staff was extremely helpful in giving us ideas about where to eat and drink.
