For what we paid the hostel was excellent!! We staid in the double room, which is in an apartment, with its own bathroom. Everything was clean and perfect.

There are nicer hostels in the city in the same price range. But I have no real complaints.

Best Location, good view from the bedroom, near downtown and nightlife all in walking distance, also near to catch BUS to the Airport. They have great sound isolation so you can go to sleep at any time and you won't hear a thing from common area (which is beautiful and relaxing). The Hostel is very clean and have a nice and helpful staff. Good party at weekends. Best value for money.

I had a very nice stay and the security was good. Would definetly come again if I'm coming to Barcelona.Free internet was a plus! The music was quite loud in the evenings and in the weekend it was playing quite late, but I understand that not everyone go to sleep as early as I do :)

ventilation was poor and it was very hot in our dorm. there was no window either. however, everything was managable and on the brighter side it was cheap and close to the town center. Value for money...

Great hostel, amazing value for money. If you get the Aerobus from the airport and get off at Placa Catalunya, its a 10 min walk to the hostel. Great central location, also 2 secs from two metro stops. Rooms are new, beds comfy, big locker for each person. Staff are all super friendly. Also free internet (wifi and theres 4 cpus as well). Not a massive hostel either so easy to chat to ppl. Muy bien!

washing was very expensive, 10 euro. they let a group in when i was there who had a baby and it was crying in the mornings which was quite annoying. only stayed because of the location, which was excellent.

The staff is really helpful and polite. Probably the best I've ever seen. There are lockers in each room and a nice TV/living room. The location is great, near to everything by metro or walking. The only problem is the showers.. It's not good.. But, in general, I liked Mediterranean.

Showers are push button type, cubicles only, water goes everywhere! Also be careful as they can be very hot, changing without warning.

negative points: dorms are too small, no soap in the bathrooms, smelly staircase. positive points: helpful and friendly staff, cheap, 30 seconds from the metro

In my opinion there is a very friendly atmosphere. You can meet a lot of new friends and it is very good for human relationship. And also it is too cheap.Especially I strongly recommend for students.

Really helpful friendly staff. Problem that there is no elevator to the luggage room but staff helped me carry my bags. Laundry is 10€ which should have been mentioned but clothes come back nice & clean. Great location close to Ramblas. Wifi intermittently cuts out. Directions to hostel are not from Francs Estacion- keep that in mind if you arrive there. Definitely recommend the TravelBar for their free dinners with a drink (if you stay at this hostel), their pub-crawls & Flamenco nights.

AWESOME!! One thing they don't mention is that if you take a private room you get the towels and the bed linen for free, so we saved up some money there. Great location, superb service!
