I had a great stay at Mediterranean Youth Hostel! The location was perfect for getting around to see all the sights. Also close to the metro for getting to train station, which was great. Loved the cooking classes in the evenings, and had a great time going on the bar crawl. Would definitely recommend this place!

This place was clean, comfortable, and enjoyable. The location was great for sightseeing, and the staff was more than helpful.

Shortly speaking, I will recommend this hostel to others. The location is great, it's very near to metro station and you can reach La Sagrada on foot. The room and bathroom is clean, they provide locker in room also. The wifi is working in all area including your room. Price is not too expensive and it is great value for money :-)

Decent staff but unclean.. Cancelled my last night to move to another hostel closer to main streets.

Everything was good! Only complaint is that the doors and lockers were very noisy and (not hostel's fault but...) people coming and going at all hours of the night with no respect for those trying to sleep

Staff was extremely helpful. I will definitely staff at this hostel again on my next visit to Barcelona.

Really nice place! The hostel has a very good location, relatively close enough to get to La Sagrada Famila, La Rambla, Casa Batllo, La Pedrera and many other places by walk (about 20-30 minutes to each one). It's just a street behind Gran Via What else can I say? Excellent price-quality relation and quiet atmosphere. I would definetively recommend this place :)

Helpful staff, convenient for metro lines, good dinners. Overall a good experience.

This hostel was great. There is a nice kitchen where you can cook your meals or you can join in on people from the hostel who cook different dishes. The only downside were there were only two toilets (toilet paper ran out fast) but everything was always clean and they made your bed!! great place to stay :)

This is a great value for the price. We got a private room. The location is convenient and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very nice hostel. The location is great, the bathrooms are more or less clean. It's a bit of a party-ish hostel, but the doors to the rooms are big and block most of the noise. You'll just have to luck out on roommates that actually care that you are sleeping when they come back in the wee hours of the morning.

Carlos and Juan are super fun and charismatic chefs who cooked delish food for us, gave us cooking lessons and also took us on clubbing and flamenco nights. Marty at reception is this lovely dude who is always helpful and awesome with local tips and directions. All beautiful people. Except for the skinny blonde at reception who frequently smokes at the entrance and thinks she is all that but anyway is probably a massive stoner.

The best hostel i've stayed in a long time! Perfect location and great facilities, guests are encouraged to get to know each other in every room, the kitchen is very organized and complete, the staff is very helpful - we had to make a change to our reservation and they answered the emails quickly and effectively. I deffinitely recommend this hostel and would stay there again if and when I go back to Barcelona!

Arrived at 2am having got lost en route from Airport to Barcelona centre by bike. Hostel has staff at reception 24 hours per day so we were warmly greeted, bikes stored in safe location in the hostel and guided to our room. Room very small but adequate for tired bodies.Did have time to sample hostel atmosphere the following morning but the staff were very friendly and helpful in recommending local cafes etc
