Really nice place, fantastic location overlooking the whole of Bergen. Staff couldn't have been anymore knowledgeable and super helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Really good breakfast and excellent facilities, free bikes and walks aplenty right from the front door. Supermarket 200 yards away and great bus links into the city. Couldn't fault this hostel and would definitely recommend it and would stay again.

Really enjoyed my time there, the hostel was a long distance from town but was serviced by regular buses. Only problem was the buses didn't run that late but that was the only negative about the place which overall was absolutely spot on!

Very nice, staff really friendly, just the location is that is not good, far from the city center and up the mountain, considering that even public transport in Bergen is expensive, the breakfast could have less fish but have scrambled eggs and some sort of cake or sweet pie. But the rest all os very good!

Great staff, excellent free breakfast. Location is outside of the city which some people may consider a negative, but it is close to some excellent hiking trails and is conveniently located off of a bus route. My only complaint was that during a free "cookie, coffee, and tea" hour, they ran out of cookies before I could get any!!!! One of the best hostels I've stayed at so far.

Bare basic hostel, great staff, but most definitely a bus ride from town, not a walk, I probably would have gotten lost since I was only there for two days. bathrooms were clean, wifi is hit or miss depending on where you are in the hostel, not too many outlets. the location of the lockers is terrible, but a great view of the city.

Very friendly staff, a little far away from the city center but close to some good hiking trails.

This place is absolutely AMAZING! The Location of the Hostel is perfect! Bergen is great city, surrounded by mountains that are waiting to be explored and hiked. The Hostel has probably the most amazing panoramic view of Bergen, and it takes maybe 30/40 minutes to reach the city by foot. The staff is super helpful and friendly, and espacially the volunteers are making this place even more special than it already is! Thank you so much Như and Kira for being so great! ;)
