Hostel and facilities are excellent, as is the price. The only disadvantage is the location - it is quite far from the town center, requiring a 10 minute bus ride to get to and from the main town.

although it was not centrally located the great surrounds in the quiet suburb made up for this with bus services very frequent. the breakfast was a feast and the staff were so very helpful and friendly. one of the best i have stayed in.

Breakfast is very good. Definitely better than the average hostel. Rooms are bit too small but if you are just looking for a bedsit, that is OK. I was particularly happy about their washing machine and drier after a camping trip.

the location is beautiful! you really see Bergen as it is, however if you were there for a night out [like me] it was difficult to get back without spending on a taxi the place was clean and relaxed, breakfast included as well as an excellent kitchen with lots of communal areas for people to sit and socialise. fantastic place, like all of Bergen, never disappointed, and hey the location makes you learn the local busses =) i would definitely stay there again!

I think that is very good place to stay in Bergen but it's so far from the city center. Also de views are amazing, because you can see all Bergen from here, but if you want to spend all day in the cinty center you have to take the bus. The cleanliness it's so good, and the staff it's good too.
