Hostel is very clean, has a great staff that's very helpful and is located right next to a very nice hike and has a beautiful view right out back. Not a bad place for meeting people since there's a nice common room but it's definitely not a party hostel or anything. Linen costs extra just like anywhere else in Norway. While it's in a nice area, only downside is that it's 20 minute bus ride out of center of town. Still very nice and comfortable hostel though!

Excellent staff recommendations for the city and I loved the activities you organised (and your volunteers are great!). Great job, guys!

One of the better hostels I stayed at throughout Europe - if you go to Bergen, you must stay here. Good vibes with a friendly and open layout made it super easy to make friends while travelling alone. Link that with an amazing included breakfast, great views and located at the foot of a hike (which a staff member took us on for free) and you have an awesome Hostel experience!

This is a great hostel. Very friendly and it has a good atmosphere. Only marked down on location cos it is a fair way out of the main part of town, but it IS nice and quiet at night there and also is close to the mountains behind so good in that respect. Bus from main terminal is easy (#12-35NOK) Also marked down value for money but you'd have to say the same about everywhere in Norway so all things are relative.I would definitely recommend it if you are staying in Bergen.

This hostel is bit far from city center but it's ok. The room was so modern, clean, staffs answered everything i asked. The view was good

im so glad i booked my stay here only wish i could have stayed longer. the staff are all so helpfull and make sure to ask for christina from budapest, she leads the most incredible hikes that are literally just across the street from the hostel and will leave you feelin sweet at the end of it all! the showers are great really strong currents and they have a great kitchen and lounge area too. you've seriously got to check out this hostel if your in bergen!

You need to take bus number 12 direction Montana and stop there. Be prepared for a 20 min ride. Otherwise it is very easy to find the hotel, thank to the good signalisation. I was travelling alone and I didn't find it easy to meet other travellers. But I don't quite know if it is the hostel's fault or just the time we live in (people just close down on their phone).

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and the breakfast is the best. It is not exactly in the centre of Bergen but can be reached by foot. One of the best hostels I stayed in so far.

The hostel was decent, but it was so far away. You need to take a bus up a mountain to get there, and the busses in Bergen is very expensive. There are also a lot of older people (ages 35-50) staying in the hostel which I wasn't exactly happy with. The hostel is advertised as a youth hostel but I'm 22 and was one of the youngest people staying there...

I had a very good stay here. The facilities are excellent, very clean, and the staff is great. Very good breakfast. The location is good too, easy to get to/from the city center (15-20 min bus ride). The hostel organizes free hikes to a beautiful spot from which you get a great viewpoint of the city. Sheets are not included, so bring your own if you want to save some money. That is the case in most hostels in Norway.

The hostel was clean but it was located a 20 minute bus ride from down town. The only thing close was a great hike but other than that you had to take the bus into and out of town every day. The kitchen was also way too crowded and dirty I think too small for the size of the hostel. The hot plates also didn't get hot enough to boil water and one didn't work. It wasn't a horrible place though! Clean and lots of places to hang out, just out of the way!

First, great view. it locates on the mountain, even though it is a bit hard to get to the city center, but the whole city view is totally worth it. Second, i got very nice bath here, and very nice free breakfast. Third, staffs here are so informative and absolutely helpful, love them.

Wifi has to be improved. Almost impossible to surf during peak hours.

Really nice place, fantastic location overlooking the whole of Bergen. Staff couldn't have been anymore knowledgeable and super helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Really good breakfast and excellent facilities, free bikes and walks aplenty right from the front door. Supermarket 200 yards away and great bus links into the city. Couldn't fault this hostel and would definitely recommend it and would stay again.

Really enjoyed my time there, the hostel was a long distance from town but was serviced by regular buses. Only problem was the buses didn't run that late but that was the only negative about the place which overall was absolutely spot on!

Very nice, staff really friendly, just the location is that is not good, far from the city center and up the mountain, considering that even public transport in Bergen is expensive, the breakfast could have less fish but have scrambled eggs and some sort of cake or sweet pie. But the rest all os very good!

Great staff, excellent free breakfast. Location is outside of the city which some people may consider a negative, but it is close to some excellent hiking trails and is conveniently located off of a bus route. My only complaint was that during a free "cookie, coffee, and tea" hour, they ran out of cookies before I could get any!!!! One of the best hostels I've stayed at so far.
