Montana Youth and Family Hostel Reviews

I think that the hostel is huge, and pretty well organized. Nevertheless, We were dissapointed but the few ''young'' people there. A lot of family were staying over, which lead to kid's noise and another way of living. We were expecting to meet up people from everywhere. Other than that, the staff is great and the breakfast is really good.

Good value for Norway where everything is extremely expensive. It included breakfast, and sheetswere very clean. The crowd was odd, everywhere from kids on schools trips, teens, to adults looking for work in Norway. Well located near hiking trails, but the bus is about 4 euro for a single ride to get into town. We were content with our experience.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a pity the hostel is located on the outskirts of Bergen, above all because bus fares are quite expensive. But I enjoyed my stay very much and highly recommend Bergen for visitors travelling to Norway.

Decent hostel, no complaints, not very memborable either. More expensive than other hostels I have stayed at, but that's Norway.
