Kept very clean during the day. Only a 7 min walk to the harbour. Has a quiet vibe about it, with an even mixture of ages. Weird that they auto turn off the mixrowave and stove from 9pm to 7am. Too bad if you want a later meal, which i did. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Good location, but that’s about all that’s good. There is a guest kitchen, but it’s tiny, the common area has room for 4 people, and the bunk beds are the low quality ones that squeak and move, so you feel every movement of your bunk mate. There are much better options in Bergen for this price. When I arrived, the woman working at reception didn’t even look up from her phone to say hello. She just kept looking down and the only thing she said was “read your email. Do you have questions?” Wtf?

Pros: very central location and clean. However, this is weirdest vibe of any hostel I’ve been . Average age is 60+, which was awkward in the dorms. They had no staff, which meant that some strange people were in. The main shower area is shared between genders, which was weird to be showering with 70 year old men. The bunks were also very wobbly. No social events, couldn’t meet other people, wouldn’t stay again
