New Orleans Hostel - Marquette House Reviews

Had a wonderful time! Great value for the money. Close to a lot of great restaurants and beautiful places. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

A great hostel, best I've stayed in in the US so far. I had read the other reviews on Hostelworld before I came and was a little concerned but I had an amazing time! All the people who are either staying there long term or working there are all very friendly if you take the time to talk to them.

C'est bien placé mais l'ambiance est complètement nulle! Aucun endroit commun pour relaxer ou lire ou partager avec les autres! L'accueil est très froid et peu invitant! Les dortoirs sont propres mais la cuisine est juste horrible !

good for the money. Provided cheap shelter and in a central location that was neither tourist heavy or unsafe. Problem is, as a young girl, it was exasperating to feel the eyes of many men on my ass and other parts as I passed through the courtyard to go to the kitchen and dorm. I understand that there are people who live in the hostel space in exchange for doing chores. That's cool, but if that is the case then why did some never seem to work? I'm referring to the 10am beer club. Creeps.

Great deal for the money. Within walking or bus distance from the French Quarter. Around the corner or blocks from 24 hour satisfying NO restaurants. Near to grocery. Though a block from a bit a bit of a sketchy neighborhood, the Garden District is lovely.
